Meanwhile, Akina's school has made some festival and that Raika has been invited. Present Hikari feeling a little down and fights Akina, forcing her to eat some nutritious foods if she losing the fight against him. Nao and Erika came to festival as well. Kagetsu made his debut there, asking Akina a lot of question that it makes Nao blushing..🤣 Raika seen him and heard some rumors that Kagetsu was one of strong rival on the same league as Michiru, who's returning this season 3. Both Akina and Kagetsu make it up for all those goffier actions and introduces each other again from the start!!

I didn't buy Dear Days 2 and I don't think I will. I don't see the point. Think about this for a minute. What is the point in paying 70 plus dollars for a game that's gonna be obselete in the next couple of years? The devs will just stop updating the game after a certain point and will most likely make a Dear Days 3 with a $70 price tag and will charge for DLC. So what's the point in the devs making people pay so much money for a game that won't last long?

Kuon and Suo back into being an true childhood friend, Kyohma and Taizo still keep being reliable partner of their team, Yuna being their friend now, Masanori and Jinki return to their same old stuff but also for the sake of Shingi, Akina, still kinda worries about Erika/Hikari disappear and can't do anything suddenly shocked to seeing her was still around as Gab was revealed to saves her at the last second using his power to enters her body. Both of them hugs and expresses that she will gonna loves more, as Akina welcomes Hikari back! F Hikari wanna come up with a new name that was Erika while Taizo wanna met some old buddy that we already knew as Michiru...!!!

The final battle between the Fated King and Sybilt. Our beloved doctor Rezael once again bears the heavy burden of fighting someone dear to him - this time, his best friend, Varga Dragres, the first Fated One he befriended. Why must Rezael endure so much? Not only does he have to fight his friend, now possessed by Sybilt, but he also witnesses the same friend commit the heinous act of stabbing Liael=Amorta in the back. This act undoubtedly triggered his PTSD, as the dark blade piercing Amorta's chest must have brought back memories of the original Liael's tragic death. All Rezael ever wanted was a peaceful life with his family and friends, yet fate refuses to grant him that reprieve. But it doesn’t matter, no matter what hardships are thrown his way, our beloved Fated King rises once again, ready to do his best to end everyone's suffering.

As the battle continues, Evil Nao demonstrate her evil dragon's power to defeats Kuon and exhausted. Akina and Fated Ones arrives to handle this. The flashback before match shows that Akina and F Hikari had some talks that she will disappear after Sybilt left her body as Akina desparetaely wanna saves her while Hikari ask him to worried about saving Nao first. As match goes, Akina manages to usee Rezael's miracle via divine skill to revive against Evil Nao's relentless attacks and finally summons Rezael Vita in the final battle!!

Damn, Kuon's past are just a sad that people thinks he's crazy about travel to Cray and Suo lost his memory even after they been friend in the past and met Sybilt. That's how he winded up being in Akina's school and class. Now thinks he make mistakes, Hikari and his Destined Ones allies voices brought him back to his senses and suddenly makes his own Destined King card, Levidras Empireo. He asking them for helps to rebuild his deck for Sulybilt fight. The night next day, Iwlt was Destined Ones arrived to fight Evil Nao first as she had some memory of Nao and a bit from Hikari. As fight goes Kuon summons Levidras Empireo and Evil Nao confidently summons an taken over unit,Varga Dragres 'Rakshasa'!!

Yeah, I agree that Kuoh should commit more to the plot. Bro’s literally on the second season’s poster with Akina, yet Mr. Infinity gets redemption even though he barely did anything. So it’s more like a small change of heart. Well, at least that means he still has a sense of morality and boundaries. My dude, you missed an after-credit scene. Actually, in later episodes, there's a scene where Mikoto and present Hikari are talking and calling back to the camp, which confirmed that she was there. Hikari even commented that it would be weird if they remembered that one time when they're still little kids, unless they're geniuses like Kuoh. My headcanon is that after the incident, everyone there formed a link to planet Cray, a passive and subtle one. Remember Gabs and Sybilt said traveling between worlds is not easy and takes a lot of energy. Gabs even need to a summoning spell filled with Design Force to do that. During the incident, Sybilt most likely radiated a lot of Fate Power, Design Force or whatever Sybilt uses to fuse with card and take control of Hikari, the ruin even glowed brightly and could be seen from the outside. At the aftermath, the leftover energy was so intense that everyone there had some residue of it, like some kind of radiation poisoning. Back in episode 9 season 1, when Masanori tried to figured out why they were chosen for Fated Clash, one of the criteria he pointed out was that they all live in Kaga City, a specific area. Coincidence? I think not. I think they have a higher chance to be chosen by the Fated Ones because the residue make them easier to form connection to Cray units than others. And unless there was another event connecting Cray and Earth happened in the past, I will confidently say that the 5 other participant of the 2nd Fated Clash from F. Hikari timeline also went to that camping trip.

No, I said the "table came out of nowhere" as a joke. I love that spiritual fight table concept too. It's just hilarious how those super powerful villains, that can just mind control everyone or manifest themselves into our world to do physical work, need to think how they would get a table everywhere they need to do the actual invasion. It's the "Everything need to be resolved by a card game" but takes it serious. Like in Yugioh and Buddyfight (I don't remember Battle Spirits much), the villains could just use dirty tricks like beat the opponent up by the monsters, themselves (items) or outside force to gain advantage In Cardfight Vanguard, most of our villains are more polite than that and take the game seriously. They like "We're the invader! Oh you want to fight me? Okay, this is our fight table, don't question where it came from tho. They were all save and each done their farewell. Hikari lost her memories of the ruins and Akina and others keeps growing up, forgetting red colored creature that first possesses Hikari duo. Sybilt being sick seeing how Akina being an caretaker of his sisters and performs mind pollution of him but he was easily cancels that out with his own design force and his bonds with Rezael in Fated Clash and Destined Showdown to created new card merging from all his Fated Ones allies to create Rezael Vita, the Fated King. Sybilt challengea Fayed Ones to one final battle at the same ruins where it all began. Kuon still had his mind pollution intact, obtains Destined Card from his Destined Ones allies and next episode he fought Evil Nao first as she demonstrate her Varga Dragres Rakshasa!

I agree with your point on immortality. Just look at how many stories we have where the mastermind villains are super ancient entities, and their reason is that they're bored. They create chaos for everyone else to entertain themselves because they're freaking BORED. Like in the anime, the events in lore at this point were very messy and filled with confusion. With the help of a previous clone of his wife, Amorta, who mysteriously disappeared, Rezael finally managed to calm down Odium, yet another fanatical copy of his wife. It took one bipolar wife to calm another one 😅, though some people say that Liael = Odium behaves more like a rebellious little sister or child to Rezael. I wonder why 😂. *glaring at present Hikari* But then, the irony! Just when he thought Rezael could finally enjoy a peaceful time with his family and friends, Sybilt just had to take over his best buddy Varga, making his life even more miserable. Can't my dude have a god damn break for JUST ONE SECOND?

Honestly, at that time, I had gone crazy with theorizing who Sybilt's host was too. I thought both Akina and Hikari were his hosts, like having a back up plan if necessary, to explain how the timeline fitted in, how Sybilt took over Gabs's spell and how he would guarantee winning chance in Destined Showdown by having pawns in both side. I theorized that obsession is Sybilt's food or his source of power, so he would grow their obsession by playing with their emotions. In this case, Hikari's illness was just a ploy of Sybilt to emotionally manipulate his two potential puppets to bring their negative thoughts to the surface. Honestly, I like the canon more. Somehow I feel like being drained life force by Sybilt for 10 years which also essentially tied his existence to Hikari so he has to be careful to keep her alive, is much better than knowing that her entire suffering for years was just a sort of entertainment for Sybilt and he could just throw her away like a broken toy.

Well, we thought she vanished forever and if Sybilt possessed her, he should disappear too. The majority of our community were either not notice the scene where the table turned red after F. Hikari collapsed on it or thought it's just an animation error. How should we know that is the moment that SYBILT LITERALLY INJECTED HIMSELF INTO THE FIGHT TABLE. Turned out, Sybilt's host is our MC's background little sister, who did nothing but stay in the hospital waiting to be used as a plot device for the MC's development. You know, the usual anime trope of one-off family member. And she coincidentally becoming a participant of both Fated Clash and Destined Showdow was definitely not a lazy way to force Akina's growth by kicking in his emotion's soft spot. Another typical anime trope of one-time rival. Damn these writers, the writing of this era is so DAMN GOOD.😊

At the time this was airing, since most people forgot about the Hikari scene in the previous season, the leading community theory was that Akina was the possessed one. His eyes were naturally red, he had a fanatical obsession with helping his sister even in this season, and he was the only one who hadn’t lost last season. Would have been equally satisfying.

The begimning scene was revealed that Hikari duo gotten sick of Akina always taken care of the duo that smol self wanna goes to past badly.. F. Hikari wins and ask smol self to apologises to each other. Sybilt wanna plotting of uses desin force to taken his ture form but thanks to Jinki and Masanori, Gabwelius was able to beat Sybilt & take that force back but F Hikari suddenly feels as if she was possessed and it was Sybilt that able to finally absorbs that at last and gone out of her body after that. Hkari duo revealed to be possessed by Sybilt that causes their sickness from S1.. Sybilt possesses Nao's body next and reveals how Nao has that card and also an actual truth about camp decades ago...

I don't know if you invested in lore or not, but in lore, the 2 Liael's conflict is very similar to their holders's, that we can really say that Hikari and Liael is each other own alter ego. In lore, Liael is Rezael's deceased lover. She's an Angel Feather healer, hence her angelic look, but she died during war and was buried in a Gear Chronicle research ruin. The 2 Liael fighting in this season are not the original Liael, but rather 2 different clones created using Liael's corpse and Rezael's memories when an outside force of energy flowed into the GC ruin and activated it. Both want to make their beloved Rezael happy, but their methods are varies despite have the same goal. They're basically 2 sides of the same coin. Armorta (Love) was born by the Design Force accumulated in Blangmire before he died, which also contains remains of Rezael. Born after Rezael's death and having the original Liael's memories about her love toward Rezael, Armorta's goal is to protect Rezael at all cost, even if that mean using her body as a shield and kill everything she sees as a threat. She desired a timeline where she and Rezael lived peacefully. In the other hand, Odium (Hatred or rather Self-Loathing) was born from a source of energy known as "The prayers of despair" which is also a very strong form of Fate power but belong to the negative side, hence the name. Fueled by anger and despair over Rezael's tragic path and her own death, she seeks to rewrite history by preventing her death in the war. And she even go as far as tried to killed Rezael when he tried to stop her, believing that after she succeed, he would be back with a happier state anyway, a Rezael that didn't have to morn her death. Which sounded really twisted. Each version of Liael represents a different facet of fate: the past's tragedy, a future's sacrifice, and despair's determination to reshape destiny.

Hikari duo is the best part but... Future Hikari returning back then was the most unexpected plot twist.. She spoils everything about their Onii-chan before the battle start is making me laughing a bit and F. Hikari/Erika still sick even after those troubles she make from S1 cuz that wish that Akina make is only affected her smol self and she still can put her smol self in her place cuz of smol self's plan as she wanna to returning to past that will causes smol self to repeating what Hikari/Erika did previously...
