greetings from germany! the discussion of "increasing" foraminifera size was a wonderful entry to the discussion of "increasing" complexity. really great. i'll use this from now on to explain why we shouldn't interpret natural processes in a teleological way, not even in pop science / science journalism.

This was so helpful in my botony class. they didn't explain it half as well as you on how to locate and identify xylem and phloem under a microscope, so THANK YOU!

Hey, Jeffrey! Thank you a lot for your course. This channel is terrific. Your manner of presentation is easy to follow and understand, and the accompanying video is graphical and simple, helps a lot to conceptualise all of the information. It is a hidden gem on youtube and it helps people like me without an access to university course to learn biology. Especially your microscopy labs are great -- buying a microscope just for few botany experiments seems ridiculous. Thank you!

Dr. Ihara, what is the skinny on the so-called "simplified school girl (SSG)" circuit? Have you heard of this device by John Bedini?
