I have after market Corvette aluminum wheels with chrome facing the outside. The chrome is flaking off and on the inside the aluminum is becoming pitted. I'm considering strippping the chrome off and doing a polish like on this video. I'm willing to do the work but I don't want to ruin the wheels. I have never stripped chrome off of a wheel and I'm afraid of what I'll find under the chrome surface. Any suggestions?

Duct tape is the wrong thing to fix that steam gun with you should be using heat shrink any tape put on there is gonna melt off

How do you think they compare to LC HDO pads?

I have an 04 F150 which I want to keep. I don't really care how this rubber stuff looks but i hate how it leaves black marks on everything. If you accidentally touch it, especially when it's wet, it's very nasty. Will this product stop that from happening? Or should i just replace all of that rubberized trim molding?

Personally I think the Rupes is a pain in the ass to wipe off. After cutting I normally untape and wipe it down . Then use the Rupes reveal. Then yellow pad it. Reveal again then if it’s black I come in and hit with the white pad and go slow .

Cool video, though I'm seeing it for the 1st time 5 years after the fact! I like most things Turtle Wax, especially the Graphene Flex Wax from their Hybrid Solutions line! It works GREAT even without machine polishing! I have Beadmaker and Dreamaker because I am on a quest for insane gloss and have seen numerous videos on the crazy gloss levels that the combo of those 2 products produces. However, when I applied them to my car, I hadn't machine-polished it beforehand, didn't know that I needed to, and didn't get the desired gloss levels either. Regardless, I know Beadmaker and Dreamaker are good products, but people shouldn't sleep on Turtle Wax's products either. They've made some BIG changes in their product line in recent years. As seen here, quality products at very affordable prices usually produce winning outcomes. Thanks for posting!!
