Eluveitie does pull from ancient Celtic folk melodies so that might be the reason. We are still comparing Celtic folk metal to Japanese symphonic metal so obviously there are some serious differences.

Conquer // divide was decent. Electric Callboy was incredible. Solence really didn't belong there though and unfortunately they drew a pretty fragile crowd poorly suited for the metal concert environment. I've never seen so many people up front taking shit personally, constantly whining about everything and trying to start shit because their feelings are hurt. Surprisingly I didn't pay 92$ to listen to people whine about the environment that they made a choice to be a part of. I would do it again but I wouldn't pay 92$ to do it again.

@@Squee_666_9 I really didn't have to deal with much drama with anyone else, a few people trying to force themselves into where I was standing, but I was the first into the venue and I wasn't giving any ground up lol

@@alphaomega9076 Glad to hear that. Gives me a bit more faith in humanity. I had a bunch of people demand that I leave. I refused. The only place I could have gone was over the barricade and end up in the back. I paid good money to be there and i wasn't going to end up in the back.

He demanded that I leave and was acting as though he was wanting to fight over it. It's a truly sad day when security needs to get involved and remind people that they made the choice to hit a metal show and that if they can't handle it to get the fuck out.

It was definitely awesome. It's not too hard to get all the way upfront. Just move forward every opportunity that you have. I almost always end up against the barrier.

i think it's the bassist from illumishade where the rhythm guitarist and fabienne also play in. it's like the bassist dropped in to help out. i remember chirgel was missing and there was a lady doing the metal vocals to help out.

Yea a bit weird they were missing the frontman and had the support bands singers fill in, the violinist doesn't seem to tour much anymore so they tour with fill in violinists, and in addition to that the bass player was randomly missing from this tour as well. @@Jungle-Run

Sounds awesome! Honestly one of my favorite venues I've been to here is kilby court which is the name of an abandoned culdesac downtown and the venue is an old garage in that culdesac. Kinda feels like an unsanctioned show.

Yeah it was a hell of a good time. I was front with only the barrier in front of me for most of the show. I uploaded a lot of them but I can't remember all of them off the top of my head but I know that they played Hope in addition to the ones I uploaded. I think that was the original plan but they were impressed by how we showed up bought merch and gave them great energy. They played three more songs as the encore.

Bad omens played for about 1 and a half hours but the whole concert started at about 630 pm thousand below played first, then make them suffer, then dayseeker for about 10 minutes because of a broken bus, then bad omens
