im 18 working on my truck i have a lifter problem and going to replace replace lifters and cam, when you say damage to the engine and rebuilding it would i have to do that because of the lifters?

How did you fix the cam issue? Rotate it independently of the its intake cam?

I had a lifter fail on cylinder #2 of my 2018 L83 at 47k, cylinder #2 isn't even an AFM cylinder. I'm suspicious that it has more to do with the lifters themselves than the afm. Also Afm was disabled electronically at 500 miles.

Had the exact same issue on a 2014 5.7 at about 75k miles. Exhaust gasket had shrunk and was leaking. When warmed up, it expanded and filled the gap and no more leak/noise. Replaced the gasket and problem never came back.

Between this video and the last video both vehicles are about the same years both having timing issues i noticed this engine is clean compared to the other video where the engine is yellow inside. Is that because the owner went alot of miles before changing oil. I have a 24 f150 raptors 3.5l and want my engine clean inside like in this video. Would oil changes at 3000-5000k keep my engine clean like the in this video. Thanks

I have 19’ f550 every module on the hsp2 can is saying lost communication with abs module U0121, however only the pcm has a u0121 code and a u1012 for invalid internal control module monitoring data from abs, and then another code I can’t remember for the signal from the sccm. I was not able to communicate with the abs but I could communicate with the sccm, so I replaced the abs module and had no fix. Removed the airbag to gain access to the sccm/sas and found the center connector to the airbag was damaged not allowing it to fully seat, that connector is a part of the sccm so I ordered that hoping it’s gonna fix it I’ll find out tomorrow. Now that I’m typing this out I think I might need to trace the signal wire from that sccm. Idk it’s hard to diagnose these new fords without FDRS.

That oil looks like what builds up when it recycles through the engine via EGR. Catch can will help with this oil in warmer states, weep hole 16/32 in diameter driver side corner lower edge of intercooler in the colder states. Catch cans will freeze up or gum up with the collected oil and moisture mix when its crazy cold.

What causes the issues. I have G sport and service telling me I’m having clutch issues car won’t start half the time engine light on. Car only has 40k miles. I took the car in for inspect sticker and day later got clutch issues. If what you’re doing is what I’m going to have to do I’ll just burn the car up insurance job get my money back.

Well I hate to tell you but you can replace every part in that system and they will still get that code... It's the plague of volkswagen... 😂😂😂 I have a beetle that has the code and ive replaced everything 3 times with oem parts.. check wiring, everything is fine but still get the manifold sensor code.. 😂😂
