We are so very fortunate to now have Peter Boal (2nd male part) as our artistic director of Pacific Northwest Ballet in Seattle Washington. AND he brought this piece with him. It is one of my all time favorites, electrifying from start to finish. I'm probably responsible for 100+ of the viewings here. Our next rep performance has this one, Vespers, and Dancing on the Front Porch of Heaven, billed as "3 by Dove." Check out PNB's other KZbin videos.

The dancers are Albert Evans, Peter Boal, Wendy DIVA Whelan, and Maria Karowski of the New York City Ballet!

Roland CullerII Are you sure that that’s Maria? The other three are correct, but Darci Kistler was the fourth dancer in the premiere and she was still dancing at this point. Or maybe it’s Miranda Weese?

This piece was the reason I applied as a ballet BFA to most of my undergraduate college choices. . . I ended up pursuing modern/choreography, but this will always be an important piece to me.
