No idea how anyone could afford living there beyond that they were already wealthy.

I was born and raised in the valley and grew up in Wilson. It's a beautiful valley but the Ski Resort, the Airport and especially the Realtors who have created this insanity.

Hey, I grew up there! Class of 92. Asshats that bought into Jackson when the internet went live ruined the vibe. You'd do way better by picking any small town USA with a view and Zillowing there. I would actually still love to live there, but people like this keep cashing in on out of staters instead of helping the current population.

Once democrats show up there, it will go to crap quickly. They are the cancer that feeds on its host until the hosts death. Just look at ANY democrat-controlled city in the country.

Way too expensive for me. I can't even afford to visit Jackson anymore. Loved it back in the 70s and early 80s before it was discovered by out of staters.

The price is too high. If they taxed you’d need to be a millionaire to buy a gallon of milk. And it’s not worth 1/3 the price. Jackson is WY asshole.

Yea compared to the rest of the US, but for European like me, this seems like the bottom line price for almost every decent house. I always had a dream to move out to Wyoming (am Croatian soo am used to the Mediterranean climate) and enjoy life in nature!

That's why its never good to have billionnaires and millionaires in any country . What they do they just enslave the population, stealing their workers wages and involved in wars and regimes change so they can get access to oil and minerals . I guarantee you most of the billionaire and millionaires they make most of their money in illegal way . So yeah i would love to see those super rich to be aboslish from any country . There are the real cause why we have poverty and homelessness . And those joke real state this guy and this girl is just an example of a capitalist system that ruin Americans lives.

Move to Cuba please… and enjoy yourself. I am a multimillionaire in upstate -NY… which doesn’t mean much in 2022 btw… I worked hard and smart since the age of 14. My first job was working cabbage season at a farm alongside other kids and also migrant workers. I shoveled cow and pig feces, worked as a janitor, dug ditches by hand… all before the age of 17… what did you do to better yourself or your community??? At my first job at the farm (I commuted on my BMX bike) we all got along great and worked hard. I busted my rear end and paid off my college loans… raised a family… lived below my means… invested wisely… retired early before age 50. That’s what hard and smart working people do. Not once did I enslave anyone… you are woefully ignorant and I feel sorry for you. Wake up!! The prices of real estate in Jackson WY are a result of long standing government policies of limited private land… the supply and demand equation thus creates the price. Cuba is also beautiful… so go live where you aren’t allowed to be a millionaire… enjoy your rice cooker (government issued). Seriously God Bless… your problem isn’t with countries who allow people to succeed… your problem is that you have been brainwashed to believe your poor choices aren’t your fault and that you are a victim of those who achieve.

Stayed there in April on my way to Salt Lake. To call it a beautiful place would be an understatement, but it has to be in the top 10 most over priced housing places in the US. No reason a house that's 1300sq/ft, 2bed, 1.5 bath should ever go for 7 figures. Especially being out dated by 20+ years.

Loved Jackson when the Wife and I visited. However, even with my wife making 70k/yr and myself 60k/yr we cannot come anywhere close to affording anything comfortably out there which is a shame. Seems like a millionaire cult town at the heart of it...the town cant even retain police officers due to the high costs

Do you also help with homes right outside of Jackson? Perhaps where the costs aren't quite as exorbitant? I am a nurse practitioner and currently live in SE Idaho. Would love to live at least close to Jackson.
