My Varsity high school men's Hockey team played the US Olympic female team and had them beat so bad that coach told the boys to stop shooting on net for the sake of sportsmanship. Not joking.

If you watch the match that they have with the men's team, the men might have gone easy on them. Especially Shoresy. They dialed back on the hits. I mean Shore was still a jerk, he snowed the goalie multiple times, but he can be much worse. They just played differently than they did against men's teams. I initially expected coach to get knocked down a peg but it wasn't even close. It's even funnier in a later season when he thinks that he has been hired to teach how to coach and it turns out it was just a joke at his expense.

As much as I do believe in equality for both men and women, the coach is right on this one. In a real game (with contact) half their team would end up in the ER, depending on how "chivalrous" the other team feels at the time.

yeah it's not about skills. At some point, it's really about who's a motorcyclist and who's driving a mack truck. The trucker can be a 70 y.o. meth addicted drunkard and the motorcyclist a 25 y.o. vehicular stunt man. They crash, the 25 y.o. bites it.
