Flouride will not evaporate, not even if you boil your tap water.

Did I say Flouride, will chlorine do so?
@johnstauffer741
@johnstauffer741 2 күн бұрын
@@TylerMossopyes, chlorine is a gas at room temperature, & will dissipate if you let tap water sit out for at least 24 hours. Unfortunately, flouride will not. For picky plants like stromanthe, I use distilled water. If you run a dehumidifier in your basement, that's also a great source of water for diva plants.

These types of videos are becoming more common, and I find every one of them to be comical. Many YTubers don't share the fact that some plants just don't like them. Philodendron Brandi and Verrucosum are two I will not repurchase. Oh, Pearls and Jades/ NJoys may be on that list also.

Awe no, last year my Clivia had 4 pups and I noticed some rust on the main plant leaves which I cut off. I had no idea that I had to keep all the babies with the main plant 😔 I separated them and gave them to my family. A year on my Clivia has lost so many leaves… it just about hanging on and at the moment is flowering. Feeling very sad that I might have caused more harm than good!

I've had a begonia for around 4 years now. Mine was propagated from a cutting. I planted the leaf and struggled with it for about a year. It got to be a total of 3 leaves, then a weird thing happened. From that point whenever a new leaf would grow, an old one would fall off. It was like that for a while, and i honestly forgot about it. I left it in a very hot room in my house and it absolutely loved it! Over that summer it grew extremely fast and i had to repot it. I gave it a pole for support. And just this summer it surprised me and grew an entirely new shoot which already has 3 leaves. Its my favorite plant i own and its beautiful

I'm sorry, but that was such a waste of my time. You're lovely, but for a video claiming to include re-potting (the part I found you on Google for,) you maybe should have included that. I learned nothing. If you're open to some constructive criticism, try saying "um" a LOT less. Write a script so you know what you're talking about at each part of the video and keep it concise and informative.

I have five focus elastica and every spring I take them outside to sit under my awning of my backyard (west facing) and they thrive. In fact, this year alone, after putting them outside they shot up about six inches. I bring them in during late fall since we’ve had warm falls lately. And they go out as soon as temps stay above 55*F here. Haven’t had a single problem yet. 🤷‍♀️

@@TylerMossop I think so. I started doing this after I had purchased an ailing focus burgundy from Lowe’s. It was literally a stick and one leaf and over three years grew to almost five feet and bushy as can be. Sadly, one fall we didn’t bring it in soon enough and it began losing all its leaves and then died.😭 I was heartbroken because it was one I was especially proud of and often received compliments on.

I moved mine outside this spring and it was perky and tall, then I was out of town for a weekend and my husband had to move it because of workers and when I came home it had bent ninety degrees and looks so sad. I can’t figure out why, so I can’t figure out how to fix it. Maybe too much light, maybe too much water (we had both huge storms and a few hot days.) Maybe just mechanical injury from being carried? I guess I’ll repot and stake it and hope for the best.

So I bought this plant three years ago from a Luxe plant store and I paid $65 for it more than I’ve ever paid for any plant. I did not do no research. I had it in my retail store by the front door now all of my leaves are between seven and 10 inches and they all have split very well, but I have noticed that it loves a lot of sun and when I would forget to water or water too much would go like a foot on the tail before another leaf would grow now that I have moved it to my back porch at home. It has sprouted like no other. It probably has 10 legs, but I did not know until your video that it’s supposed to grow up. but it is my favorite plant and I would like to get more or propagate it if I can figure out how I’m just very scared to cut off a leg and then not grow
