Hello @prestpon, this video is very helpful. I'm hoping you could provide some advice as a candidate meeting with an agency recruiter for the first time. What should I expect during an agency meeting and what it the 'typical' process? Or do you have a recommended video? TY

This is definitely happening to me at my current job. When I first started I was getting good hours, my GM was willing to train me for other parts of the store, then around December and January is when my hours started to get cut. I went from having 4 or 5 days a week to having only two, and now I'm only working one day a week for four hours. She all of a sudden didn't want to train me on other things in the store, and I definitely get the "you're doing great" fake ass compliment. If I were doing so great, then why have my hours been cut down to nothing when I haven't been late and I have only called out ONCE because I was sick with COVID and I've been at this job since September. I definitely think shes choosing "quiet quitting" because her reasons for wanting me gone are personal, and she can't fire me for a "personal" reason because that risks a lawsuit. Companies that allow, or encourage this kinda behavior should seriously be investigated. Fire me up front or don't bother hiring people. 🤷

I have been an agency recruiter for 3 years now and haven't made any commission. I'm thinking of giving up this career because I feel like I don't earn enough to support myself. Do you have any advice on someone like me whos currently in my first job?

Great info and energy from you both, and much needed for me. I am a little over a year into starting my agency. I fall into the category of an agency owner who had the explosive 90 days and a free fall for too long to mention. SMH. I have several questions for you both. I just need to bounce my ideas off someone I know who has been in this industry.. @recruiterpreston @millionairerecruiter

Wish I had seen this back in January when I got laid off. I tried doing contract work and split recruitment and nothing is working because the agencies I work with contract with terrible clients who never want to pay out and steal our candidates. So frustrated.

Hey Preston, I have been watching your content for quite a long time and you are giving me a load of knowledge about the current job market and I am an employee looking for jobs sadly. I got laid off recently and started to watch your videos to learn the perspectives of an employer. Hope we connect soon and i could tell you about myself and you could feel me as your potential hire in the tech roles you are hiring for.

I see after installing an authentication app which is asking me to allow me to access microphone. This app was forced upon us to install in our personal phones by the employer. Why does an authenticater require microphone? And I don’t see microphone settings for authenticator app

The temp agencys is cool for getting money the same day. I traveled a little bit. Temp agencys was my way to go. Now that I'm back in the Bay Area. I went to a Tamp Agency and got discriminated and walked out with a prepaid card that will never have money on it.

I know 4 a fact employers spy. If you use a company computer at home, turn off the camera and mic at end of day put laptop in a drawer. Now worry they can spy on your home cameras and smart devices because they have your password for your router internet which was needed to connect their work device so setup a guest network and connect all work devices to the guest network.
