overrated, it is just an overdone overplayed piece to promote his guitaring, many guitarists can play this but sometimes less is more, it is knowing when to take backstage that counts in a group performance, this is just one guy showing off, and it isn't very good TBH,

I saw this when it first ran on American TV. Wasn't a fan of Bowie, but there was nothing else on TV at the time, so I let it run. Who's that guy in the Hawiian shirt with the beat-up guitar? Doesn't he know you're not supposed to play it like that? No, no, no! Your right hand is supposed to stay over the pickups......what are you doing tapping on the fretboard like that, and reaching up to where the tuners are? Really a memorable performance, and I totally understood the logic of Belew being in King Crimson when they reformed in 1981.
