These scams really make me mad. Even though I am knowledgable enough to not fall for these, it makes me mad that they (scammers) eventually get through to someone who is uneducated about these scams and now have a reason to keep scamming. Lets be honest guys, nobody is going to add you randomly to be your friend or anything like that. If it is not someone you know personally, think of it as a scam.

100% right they target mostly mew unboxes on accounts that don't have that many hours and that's where most if the scams happen it is sad because a lot of those people dint watch counterstrike content so they are completely un aware the only way to reach these players and warn them is trough the youtube algorithm

I strongly agree with your thoughts on cs2. I still play csgo thanks to classiccounter, only community that uses actual old csgo client but patch it. they supported windows 7 for a year but refused to support windows 8.1 which is fucking ridiculous, now on those scam profiles yeah i’ve had 40 of them but they seemed to almost come to a halt when i traded away my knife - they always have unspecific country, private inv, no comments and some corny background art vote for us fuck me yeah those ones are the only human ones and it’s funny to troll them

yes your right they probably are the only real people scamming the rest are probably bots but ya they only care about high tear stuff and they are the people they go after even if you have an inventory worth like 300 but just in cases or cheep skins they are less likely to go after you because it is harder to get rid of a lot of stuff than just a knife or gloves

Dude hell nah, what a coincidence. Like a few days ago some chinese dude texted me like "i am playing in a tournament with my team, i added you to my list a month ago and i want to play with you" i said i dont want suspiciously. and he continued "then vote for us you will get free skins" blah blah and hell nah he sent me a photo of the skins chance that i was going to get, dude there was awp dragon lore, karambit and many knifes. that dude has to be very stupid saying that they will give everyone karambit if they vote for them. i blocked him immediately

Well it wasn't probably him writing. Somethimng similliar happend to me when my friend wrote me they are going to play in tournament and if i don't want to join. So i joined and then i realised i got fucked over because when i asked my friend after a while when we are playing he said what i am talking about. Its some AI that writes to you in your mothers tounge and try to fuck you over. I lost about 25 e of skins and was fuckin livid. Steam ofc didn't helped even tho i literally tracked the guy down and found the account which took my skins.

They don't do it now and it just means scammers run rampant because there's nothing you can do once they have your skins, honestly it really sad to see , I know personally how much it sucks having been hacked multiple times now and lost several hundred of pounds worth of skins 😢

@ if you’re thinking of the arab stereo type of having pouring money let me tell you that you’re wrong, the only team doing that is team falcons and even if they are pouring money into a team, I’m sure many other governments have the same ability to pour a couple of millions to a team but they just don’t respect esports enough. Esports in the Arab scene comes from a huge cultural background in gaming we didn’t just get gaming equipment overnight, so please educate yourself a little bit before following classic western stereo types

@@TKOreklatS haha I am tailing about Saudi Arabia witch has pored billions on making it the esport capital they latterly bought fucking facet they only have money nothing else so they are trying to drive people to dubai so they are using esports for tourism but I meant they would love to buy or make a Saudi them I didn't mean any arib team like that (I'm talking about the oil guys not the normal people )

@@cheese_puff420 come on man, you are talking about leaders of the country who did this investment, other countries don't value esports as much which is why they didn't "pour" their money into esports, I see saudi trying to create a legacy and pathway to the gamers in the arab world, we have suffered for so long having no choice but to play in eu servers with 100 + ping, it doesn't make sense you are saying saudi is pouring money into esports so it helps tourism in dubai ? but dubai already has many touristic atractions, and esports has been a thing there since early 2005 gaming cafes filled with people playing 1.6 and WOW for example, dubai had nasr esports u can check that out they have started long ago and for example angry bird who won internation street fighter compition, or the overwatch saudi team that won internationally as well. the leader of the saudis is a gamer himself and if I was a leader who loves gaming and I had money I would put it in esports. its not about tourism my friend, tourism in dubai has been booming since we made the largest tower in the world. it just makes sense now to support the middle east community so that gamers world wide can see our legacy come strong
