Well, I live in Denver and we’ve got lots of parks, so I usually take my lunch and a couple drones to the parks. It’s better now that school has started. All the kids parks become drone parks to me! 🤪😂

I try to keep everything in sequential order, but I’m a bit backlogged. So when I can’t fly, I can usually find a video to produce/publish. Most of my videos have an HUD version (link in descriptions and tags). The HUD versions have the real date/time on them.

No, I can’t really get used to it. I have all 3 motion controllers, for the FPV, Avata 1 and Avata 2. They’ve progressively gotten better, but I’ve been flying with sticks for decades. Just can’t get used to the MC.

@@pmbailey same here bro... I flew with the MC once and threw it back in the box. I also have a 5 inch quad with an air unit... I like taking one controller and goggles with me.

@@jayzworld31 I think they’re a cool device and I want to like them, but I think they’re better for someone who hasn’t used the sticks before.

@@pmbailey I use it for film around people and things. I also like to explore with this drone, I can fly in and around stuff like a small cinewhoop. I also like the long flight times of the DJI. But for pure flying, I will always pick my 5 inch.

They look pretty good! I need to start working on that kind of stuff too. Did you speed ramp some of the Firestone footage?

Odd! I haven’t put my Avata 2 into manual mode yet, but my Avata 1 lives in manual mode now, and I’ve used the pause button more than once. It’s never done anything like that. 🤷‍♂️

I don’t mind if you use it. It’s in Denver, CO. Intersection of 13th Ave and Osage St, right by Lincoln Park. I was on 13th Ave, and there’s separated bike lanes on both sides of the road, but I’ve had several close calls at that intersection. Usually cars. First time with a semi. I saw his blinker on, but assumed he’d yield for me. I was on a large e-bike with 27” tires and saddle bags full of drones. I was a relatively large object. Going about 20mph. Nothing really happened. He eventually saw me and yielded. I waved at him and went on my way.

Thanks! I started with the DJI Spark. I’ve got a few little microwhoops that I fly around indoors, but I ended up getting a DJI FPV drone. Still have that one and love to fly it fast, but I eventually got the Avata which I love flying through gaps! The FPV one is super fast but very dangerous. I’m too scared to fly it near stuff. I got a Mini 3 Pro to replace my Spark. I use it for all my cinematic stuff, but really like the Avata best right now. Can’t wait to see the Avata 2 on Thursday. 🤙
