A little confused... I can't make out what you're saying about where to solder the extra ground wire. Sounds like you're saying to solder to the "main ground wire in the loo" but that doesn't make a lick of sense.

I've got a vauxhall Insignia Petrol 2013. Have you got any idea where I can connect to in order to get steering wheel controls.Bought an android headunit ,I know key 1 and key2 to are to be connected in order to get steering wheel controls, but I don't know where to connect them .I removed the old radio and installed the new one but the old cable that was plugged into the old stereo is left lose can the wires be in that cable.should I tap into it in order to try get the steering wheel controls or do you guys have a cheat sheet.any help will be appreciated.
