Fun to watch. Years ago my folks lived in Abington VA and I met the fella who owns Harley Wood Farm - the site of a VCHSS race years ago. He let me ride the property and it was a great day of exploration. Nothin like that east coast woods riding, well played!

I wish EB had creek crossings haha. It's fun to drop into them.

Lots of mud sandwiches :) Excited you went out and experienced it. The trail needs more riders to run it.

Thanks for the sub, I appreciate it. Some of these are just raw video pulled from the gopro, there are a couple that I polished up to look decent.

I am in Southern WV, I deliver produce and just heard about Gearhead and Terry from a manager at a restaurant in Roanoke VA, yesterday. I had mentioned recently buying a duel sport ('07 KLR) . He told me Gearhead was doing rides... So yoday, I typed in the name and Pearisburg and found this. Nice. I am a newbie motorcyclist and was checking to see what type of trails and bikes were being utilized. Now, I gotta check out the website, if there is one, and of course visit the shop fairly soon. Probably see me this summer. Thanks for the video.

Hey Todd, just saw your comment and hope you made it out to see Terry and the guys at Gearhead. I travel a long way to go to the shop there as they are the best. They put on some awesome events too, hope to see you out on the trails one of these days.

@@phreakingeek Thanks. I have not been out there yet. But will very soon. The Corona thing and some personal reasons have prevented me, so far. I have talked with Terry (and some other staff) over the phone) and am looking forward to meeting them in the next couple weeks. Everyone has been great. Thanks for responding.

darn-it lol, missed the ride. why not in HD widescreen?

That's a good question AK. I recorded it in 4k with the highest resolution available...I'll have to check and see if it was something I did rendering the video.

Nice video! There doesn't seem to be much "fish-eye" effect. Did you film in linear mode?
@phreakingeek6 жыл бұрын
Thanks! As a total Gopro rookie, i didn't make any changes to the settings at all. I just took it out of the box and charged the batteries the day before this ride. If it's recording in linear mode, I think Gopro must have it configured as the default mode.

I have the Suzuki one on my bike and it has already seen a serious beating... i am wonding how i can beef it up even further and i still need to siffen my suspension so i will spend less time dragging the ground to begin with.

that's a Ricochet skid plate from RockyMountain. Next one i get will be a Pat Walsh skid plate that bolts to the factory mounts on the frame.

Bummer. Sorry to see your beast get wounded like that. What kind of skid plate do you have on it? It sure failed in the job of protection!
