The .sbn and .sbx files are spatial index files used by shapefiles. If they are missing, you can recreate them. Open the shapefile (.shp, .shx, and .dbf files) in the GIS software. The spatial index files will often regenerate automatically when you save the layer.

Those who are getting a red line in arcscene. All you have to do is close the ArcGIS before opening the TIN file in arcscene.
