Is it so difficult to just be respectful to someone? Seriously how difficult is it? Besides how words and definitions change all the time is a basic part of both language and societal growth. Ultimately our lives are not a world view, they are a fact and have been a fact for thousands of years and we are not demanding anything, we are asking for equal treatment is that so bad?

@@Alucia0 Is it "respectful" to ask (usually demand, coerce or even force) people to change how they speak or run their business to facilitate an incoherent worldview? And yes, words and definitions change over time but it's not arbitrary. It doesn't usually have to be forced, but the changes being made for the sake of transgenderism do.

Ideas and view points change and the fact that people can't have the basic decency to just not be an asshole for the sake of it is the reason why we have to be forceful. Try being terrified of being attacked or killed just for being who you are, loosing people you love and care about due to the ridiculous nonsense that is spread about us treating us like we are some kind of sub human monsters. Try telling me that you wouldn't be upset or annoyed if someone actively and intentionally mis gendered you, misnamed you, stepped all over you, spouted drivel when they have no clue what they are talking about. People like your self seem so enamoured with the idea that we are somehow taking things away from people when all we ask is for the same respect that you would give to any cis person. You would never even think to treat a cis person in the way that we are treated so yeah we have a right and a reason to be pissed off when the same basic rights that other people are given are somehow seen as a burden or an inconvenience. We are people treat us like it and not as an ideology. We already struggle enough as it is

Like "black lives matter", I assume the person with such a sign is calling attention to a problem and would be happy to answer questions about it. The majority of the names read on November 20th are trans women of color. So if most people killed for being trans are women of color, and women of color aren't the majority of trans people, it's worth mentioning they get it worse. Saying "black trans lives matter" doesn't take away from you or your concerns. It's highlighting that a group is getting it worse. You wouldn't say "all Germans matter" in response to someone saying "Germans in camps matter" during ww2 right? You'd get that they're saying society isn't acting like the named group matters right?

I think youre missing the point. Its just putting emphasis on the higher crime rates against those individuals while being a doorway to get people to talk about these issues as a whole. Just because someone says black lives matter or black trans lives matter, this doesnt mean they dont believe all lives dont matter. That would be counterproductive and ridiculous lol.

I had a reply explaining everything wrong with a person taking issue with "black trans lives matter" but the reply was deleted in less than a day.
