I’ve never really decorated for Valentine’s Day. I do winter and then spring with some Easter bunnies and eggs sprinkled in.

I have seen many people use the Dollar Tree dollhouses for similar projects, but your color scheme is very nice- sometimes less is more. Have you tried piping light-weight spackle for similar projects, especially for larger areas such as the roofline- just curious.

This is really interesting because I saw your video a few days ago and I saved it to watch later. I knew I had some of these houses somewhere and needed to find them. I was sitting on the couch a couple days later and noticed them on a shelf. So I am back now to see how to do this and I realized one of the lower windows on one of mine I had removed it to make it straight because it was crooked and now I have no idea where it is because I got these years ago. Then I noticed yours doesn't even have the window layers on the bottom. At least that's how it looks. I could be wrong because my vision isn't the greatest. I wouldn't be surprised if they stopped making them with the bottom window layers. I am not completely through the video, so I'll watch the rest because I want to see how you work with that.

I did get the gingerbread wood cutouts so I am going to attempt to make one, this one came out so pretty too. It has the same colors I use in my dinning room display. It really looks magical with the glitter added. So well done!

This came out so pretty! I do my dinning room and kitchen in a candyland theme for Christmas and I will have to check out my dollar store to see if they have the wood cutout. Last yaar I made a pink gingerbread house out of cardboard and used the spray foam for the snow on the roof and painted it white. I am surprised mine held up due to the weight but I didn't save it as I knew it would get a bit crushed as it was very loaded with that craft spray foam. This is definetely one that will last more than aeason, thanks for the video.

I'm glad I found your video because a previous one I watched she used a regular paintbrush and it took her 4 or 5 coats. I did NOT want to deal with that haha. Love your design.
