Nice playing. So, can you tell us something about the instrument? For example, what fingering style Duet is it, and who made it?

@@frankevich sure! I play a Hayden system duet, and I got this one from concertina connection.

Hi - great work. Would the Irish think poorly if I played on one of these instead of a traditional Anglo? Some are incredibly talented world class musos. I want to be able to do other genres - blues, jazz, classical and world - so have to choose really. I am a piano player and this duet system seems like the best way forward.
@datnameisАй бұрын
@@audas I can't see any reason why they would. I've played at folk sessions in pubs and no one minds. As long as you learn the style accurately and play well there's no problem that I've seen

I'm a new concertinist. I have Rose English from Wakker, but I've just about talked self into going with Duet. I've spent time on bandoneon, but the notes have no relationship with each other. But with a Duet the relation is obviious. Are you interested in selling your previous Duet? Anyway, best of luck and maybe we'll meet. I live in New Mexico, and trying to learn another instrument. Looking forward to my Elise! Mike

sorry mike but I'm hanging on to my old duet, I still use it from time to time. But I do encourage trying out a duet! I personally love the system and I think it's possibly the most versatile of the 3 main systems.
@mikemaddux66333 ай бұрын
I agree! But it's partly your playing that helped me understand. Most Duet posts I've seen make believe the Duet is boring - yours changed that. And also noting that Wakker as a 67 note Duet. Bandoneon only has 71.

@@AidasRusa it's the peacock model from concertina connection. 42 keys with no slant to the keyboard, which I acctually switched to from a slanted keyboard hayden duet I got second hand. You can see that one in my older videos. It took me a while to re-wire my muscle memory for no slant but now I go back and forth between the two.

Hi, 🦋🦋🦋🦤🦤🦤🐤🐥🐥May I share the most important news you will ever hear? God the Father sent His holy Son Jesus Christ(Y'shua Ha' Mashiach) from heaven to earth, to be born of a virgin. He grew up and died on the cross for our sins. He was put into a tomb for 3 days, and then Abba Father raised Jesus to life and He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must all sincerely receive Jesus to be a true child of God. It says in John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." Will you genuinely believe on Christ Jesus and truly receive Him today, before it is too late?
