Heres a stat that will blow your mind. 01 hurricanes would have won nearly every game they played even if the offense never scored a single point.

This team was very good but not great. They brought back several defensive players from this team including 3/4 of the dline. Az state manhandled them. 2001 Miami would have toyed with this team..Much better on the dline than Nebraska and much better skilled position players. Not even close. They always laughed at the wishbone and triple option. The reason why the whole team went pro with 17 1st rounders is because they were great in college. This team should not even be in the discussion of best ever. Not even top 10. These teams today would eat up the triple option. Much more skilled than 1995. Get a life people

In my mind one of the biggest What If's ever in the world of football, if not for the blood clots issue and Tommy went to the NFL in 95 he would have set the NFL on fire...Michael Vick born outta Tommy's shadow

The only team that could compete with them would be the 2001 Miami Hurricanes

💥💥Without a doubt the best college football team I've ever seen is 95 Nebraska hands down. That includes 01 Miami. I mean yeah 01 Miami was great don't get me wrong but they didn't have to play the second best team in the nation in 12-1 Oregon that year for the title. They played an inferior Nebraska team who confidence was destroyed after that loss to Colorado and Miami only beat them 37-14. Now what do you think 95 Nebraska would've did to 2001 Nebraska in that rose bowl. 95 Nebraska would've absolutely obliterated 2001 Nebraska. I don't think ken Dorsey noodle arm self would've stood a chance against Nebraska's defense.

Damn this is depressing 😆 Scott Frost was an utter FAILURE of a HC at Nebraska. Good Lord, a Random Highschool Coach would have fared better. I am convinced he intentionally did a terrible job to get fired

Too bad EC was in that generation of NFL head coaching. Teams could’ve used crouch like Christian Mccaffrey. They could’ve put him in the slot and even in some wildcat formations. Man he had all the skills

Nebraska 95 🎉 beats Miami 2001 and LSU 19. that’s the best most perfect team that I’ve ever watched play. No sack all season one holding penalty all year for top 10 teams destroyed by an average of 30 points

Cross was a very good back. Lacked an extra step or two of Speed, but he was really strong and had great balance. Probably should have been about 15 pounds lighter. Made some good cuts at times. An underrated guy. I had all but forgotten about him since he never had a 1,000 yard season. Way better then Newby who I never understood why he remained the starter. Newby was a Bust in comparison to what was expected of him. Never really broke out as a top Back.

Great watching these highlights. Remember that Rex missed I think it was at least 7 full games his Senior year. He was posed for a monster season and off to a great start when he went down. If he had stayed healthy, he would have surpassed 4,000 career Rushing yards easy. I really think he would have been in the Heisman picture all season long. Guy was an amazing runner. Great balance, shiftiness, cutting ability and vision. So tough and physical. I used to call Rex "White Rozier". He and Mike had very similar running styles. I wish there was more footage of Rozier online. No 1982 or 1983 season Highlight videos online anywhere that I can find. Are you kidding me. It's always just the same few games and clips. The University needs to upload that archival footage on the Internet. What happened to all those old Tom Osborne shows from the 80's and the 90's?
