Not necessarily, the original way Braid was put onto spools when it first came out was with electrical tape. Then people started using mono backing to save money because they realized braid is expensive and that they didn't need a full spool anyway.

I use a broken old reel to load the spool line onto first, then transfer the line onto the final target reel but set the drag of the old reel. The new reel then pulls the line hard off the reel and you get a far more compact line lay. Also you can also use water on the braid to help get a compact line lay.

Nick K yes i do the same gets the braid tight on the spool much better

This is NOT how you want to wind braid. Please don't follow this guy's instructions. You don't need tape if its done right. The key is to leave a tag end about an inch long of braid and to SLOWLY wind over that tag end at HIGH PRESSURE when you start. He is way too loose and it would cause nothing but problems later when the spool slips. Salt water will get under the tape and corrode the spool. I even put in a light coat of corrosion protectant on the spool to protect it.

Hello, im working on a project for my staircase at my house using some ws2812 PIXEL leds controlled by a lights equencer software for the raspberry pi, its called falcon pi player. it consists on 2 pir motion sensors HC-SR501. 1 sensor should be upstairs and the other downstairs. I need your help with a script to disable a gpio and another script to enable it again. Bottom line heres what i want to do when motion "A" is triggered it will start a playlist just like this 1- Script to disable motion "B" gpio (pin 11 GPIO 17) 2- Start sequence (After sequence ends then proceed to step 3) 3- script to enable motion "B" gpio (pin 11 GPIO 17) when motion "B" is triggered it will start a playlist just like this 1- Script to disable motion "A" gpio (pin 12 GPIO 18) 2- Start sequence (After sequence ends then proceed to step 3) 3- script to enable motion "A" gpio (pin 12 GPIO 18) Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

I live in an old sandstone house. My laptop is in the basement at the back of the house and my router is upstairs. I could only get a very weak WiFi signal in the basement and powerline has been the answer. I am not technically minded but I had my adapters out of the box and working in a matter of minutes. No software or complicated configuration is required - it is literally plug and play and the adapters “find” one another quickly. If you want to create a fully secure network you can press the encryption buttons. I have personally not bothered as no one else has access to my house electricity. I now have a reliable broadband connection for my laptop thanks to powerline.

ASian Fool? I went to your page and saw your titles that don't even match the fish you are filming being caught don't you know that Jacksmelt don't get 5ft? or the difference between a Thresher shark and a bluefin tuna?

my camera also stripped the mount, did this replacement affect the waterproofing or the WiFi plug inside the camera?
@earthlivenary9 жыл бұрын
+Brett Hampton With my replacement, all functions are still the same. You need to careful to use heat to push it down on outside cover and don't let screw or convert touch to body. It is safe when screw or convert is shorter or the same side of outside cover body.
