in the 60's i walked up dunnikier road and thru the den to the high school, and never knew about the brickworks or the mining! always learning something. great series of videos on kirkcaldy, really enjoyed them. thanks 😀

Nice to see a boat slip. It always got through to me that launching a boat in this country is not an easy thing to do compared to the States where there are slips every few miles well used to be dare say its not changed

Well thanks for that. I have said it before there was in fact a mass exodus of mine workers from there to Chesterfield whereupon they worked in the Derbyshire mines. I was quite friendly with a family from up there. Oddly his name was David Davidson. He had sister called Catherine lovely girl but I could not understand a word she said. She was a tad on the aggressive side as I remember unlike her brother David. I wonder what they are doing now. they certainly will not be mining

I have noticed in recent years the recording in Miles is being doubled with Kilometres its never right. You always used to be able to buy half a pound or a quarter of boiled ham not any more
