In 1977...I remember a man with a cart with his daughter dressed up...(Dutch like) I asked him what he was doing and he said "We are going to have a Tulip Festival and we have to start somewhere!" They were going down the side of the road. Before the festival, it was nice to have all the flowers with rainbows but no crowds.

That truffle store is unbelievably expensive, it’s $.500 for 1 truffle, the best place for cand up here is in Bellingham, there truffles are huge, homemade and absolutely blissful. The truffles in downtown Mt. Vernon is absurdly expensive and their truffles are tiny.
