Very very WRONG Elvis never Forgot His Twin Brother Jesse Garon . He Could Never understand why he Survived and Jesse Died. Elvis carried that Guilt all his life. As a Child he would Visit Jesse's Grave, to talk to him. To say Elvis Forgot His Brother is a lie. He didn't forget Jesse at all. Elvis was a Twinless Twin, who like many other Twinless Twins never Forget or Understand why. They feel that loss for the rest of their lives. The loss of his Brother affected both Elvis and His Moma for the rest of their Lives.

I'm in love with him too and that's forever! He was sooooo handsome and sooooo sexy in his famous jumpsuits and black leather suit. The most gorgeous man i have ever seen ever. The camera loves him, extremely telegenic and photogenic. Charisma, he's got loaded of it and he's stage presence alone is music to the ears. AND that beautiful gifted voice. I can go on and on........ 17 Sept. 2024, Australia

Elvis Presley was dubbed "The King" simply because of the time in which he lived. There are a number of Black entertainers who more rightfully deserved the "King" title. Unfortunately Jim Crow and segregation (in both the north and south) prevented them from achieving the title. Elvis never wrote anything. He sang other people's songs. Often he sung black folks music. Here's Elvis and Jerry Lee doing a a Ben E. King song! kzbin.info/www/bejne/iaeuZ6WkdsiBkKc

The found his brother's grave. See it on YT. Why Elvis never took him to Graceland, I can not understand!! Doesn't matter what was left in the grave, even a single bone make him still a Presley. He belong there! I think they just put a memorial stone there 😮😮😮

There were many poor Whites in the American South. During the pre-Civil War era in the South, few Whites owned slaves. The best that most of these poor Whites could hope for was a little farm and often borrowing money to get by from the local slave owners. Some of them also worked as overseers of the slaves. After slavery was ended the poor Whites ended up in direct competition with the former slaves as sharecroppers or tenant farmers. This is one of the reasons why the "Jim Crow" (i.e. anti-Black people) laws were so popular among Whites, in particular poor and lower-class Whites in the South during the post-Civil War, "Reconstruction" period.

Brilliant commentary, but spoiled by the potential clickbait title. You are so right in what you say about the focus being on Elvis' ill health, management, entourage, eating habits, marriage, divorce, girlfriends, etc. None of those things are relevant in the long term - it is his music and movies (yes, movies, they are icons of the 60's), and the humanitarian side of him that should live on in the minds of future generations.

Exactly 💯. The King of Rock & Roll . The music industry today will never replace his voice beautiful. This side of Frank Sinatra. His place in America history is valued.

I don’t think he is being erased but his importance is being diminished. I love to watch Elvis reaction videos and the amount of misinformation is huge. This is only because there are people in powerful roles with access to media that pushes untruth and elevates his flaws while reduce his impact to only singing covers. The little I can do is to keep his music alive and correct wrong where I see it.

Another bullshit video making drama and spinning lies for views and we fell for it. I remember when I got my class ring in 1978... I couldn't wait to give it to "my girl". She wore it both on her finger wrapped with yarn and wax to make it fit... and on a chain around her neck... She wore it with pride and I was proud to show her off... we were 2 young innocent kids in love. Nothing dirty about it. Just Goin steady and learning about life together... So the morons that made this video, probably weren't even alive back then, and they should just go f*ck themselves and get a job.

An undeveloped talent. But Steve Allen, whose knowledge of music was substantial, caught heck for telling his that Elvis' work was, on balance not outstanding.
