@@TheHesK9 Norwich had relegation form without Buendia, and now he's gone. Think i can see how next season is going against much better opposition. Besides Norwich are a parachute team and had the luxury of having a full prem quality team and bench last season. Brentfords bench was mostly youngsters, plus they had a bad injury crisis themselves. Norwich's bench was still promotion championship quality. Their injury crisis is nothing in comparison to non parachute teams. The gap in points wasn't really unexpected. Promotion is Brentfords chance to bridge the gap which they've done imo. Brought in 3 exciting players and looks like there's more to come. I've only been interested in 1 Norwich signing so far. Everyone knows Brentford have some of the best recruitment going and now they don't have to worry about money. Think it will be clear quite early on that Norwich and Watford aren't good enough.

@@TheHesK9 that game against Luton even the players on the pitch would've made a top 6 championship team on paper. Brentford played a big chunk of last season with no fullbacks and no CDM. In a 4-3-3 which relied on fullbacks and a CDM. Toney barely missed any games. Maybe 2? They won the games he didn't play with other players filling his position and scoring. I won a bet on them for one game he was out. Bryan Mbuemo took the CF position and scored. You're making things up now lol. Out of the top 20 championship strikers Toney played the most minutes. In fact I've never seen a striker so willing to play as many minutes as he does. So no, the same cannot be said about Toney. If for some reason he left like Maupay, Benrahma and Watkins did I'd have 0 doubts Brentford would sign someone good. You small teams need to humble yourself and understand their quality. They may not be as big but they are much smarter.
