what a shame s shit mic was used there is no engine tone at all high rpm used though, what a disappointment try UK side ISS Sea Fury deck ready plane, and quality motor run up 2nd video best same plane EVENT

I was a Merlin fan until I heard that 4 row Super Corsair at the Chino Air Show. It made the Merlins sound like a Chinese lawnmower.

Hello, Jeff Pruitt here with N977JP. That was a fun promo video shoot that we did. I had my accountant in the back and he had a blast as we yanked and banked with a few cool passes at MCC in Sacramento. The girl co-pilot is my x wife & mother of my two boys. I bought this 1997 Lear 31a for my company Azure Air, LLC. I am now retired and doing some aircraft sales & consulting and living in South Lake Tahoe, CA. :) Tahoe rules.. :)

At 500mph the Reno Air Race may be faster but the planes fly further from the stationary ground. Therefore, it doesn't "look" as fast; and I like to "watch" races so looks matter a lot. But hey, if you get off on just pure speed then go out on a clear night and you can watch the moon race around the Earth at 2288mph. Have fun.

@juzzi07 Super Chief raced with a centaurus, didn't do very well, but I don't think was the faul of the engine. You can tell a 3350 from a Centaurus because on Centaurus, the noise is "all on the exhaust" as on the Wright is a mix of exhaust and valve train clatter...
