@@TheCollectiveTable There is no conversation to be had. I’m just here to fulfill the command of scripture to call out false teachers. Repent, and believe the Gospel. The Bible is very clear about homosexuality and how they will not inherit the Kingdom of God. 1st Corinthians 6 even state’s homosexuality as a past tense for the congregants; meaning that they have repented and turned away from that behavior. You can be same sex attracted, but to act on it, let alone identity with it. Blasphemy to say this is Biblical. Homosexuals were stoned to death in the Torah. YHWH does not affirm your homosexual lifestyle and beliefs. Quit leading people to hell!

Modern Christianity is a terrible thing that is used every day to persecute and oppress. So seeing some Christian’s actually follow the teachings of Jesus and not just use religion to hate others is surprising but welcome

God is not within 100 miles of whatever you’re doing. He came to save us from our sin not let up play in it and be okay with that. I honestly encourage you to read a non-progressive bible so you can truly learn about who Jesus was and what God wants from our lives.
@TheCollectiveTable2 жыл бұрын
Hi Matthew. We’d love to talk with you more about your perspective. Contact us at [email protected]. Also what is a non-progressive Bible? We use the NIV, NRSV, and CEB translations for our study.
@matthewstone55072 жыл бұрын
Not even than really, it’s your politics. Loving others and wanting them to get the gospel is the most important thing you can do. But if there isn’t a changing in them, if they keep living in sin. The whole book of Romans 6, and 2nd Corinthians 5 15-17. The LGBT community need saved, I honestly believe that’s just the sin their flesh is weak too just like how some can be alcoholics, others thief’s or whatever it maybe. But When saved yes you still have the temptation but you don’t pride yourself about what it was or that it’s okay God loves me and He understands. No God sent His son to died for our sins a horrible painful death, but out of love. Yes he makes intercession for in on the right hand of God in heaven for when we do sin again because we still carry this flesh but he never justified it. That’s why I say God isn’t within 100 miles of this work. Luke13: 24-30, just make sure this work is actually of God, because if it’s in vain and wrong it won’t mean anything. It would be awful to work all your life thinking it’s for the Glory of God then find out you weren’t saved you just thought you were. It’s by faith in Jesus alone.
@matthewstone55072 жыл бұрын
I say all this to say, that there is a hell for those who die without accepting Jesus. There is only one way. Works won’t get you there, our righteousness is as filthy rages, Isaiah 64:6. It’s for those people who need Christ there is only on why and it’s by trusting and believing God sent him and he paid for our sins. It changes you.

Of course, you don't go into how "baptism" suddenly appeared with "John the Baptist." You veer away from that because you'd have to then understand the Jewish mikvah and now the Essenes took that to an extreme of several times daily. And sin to the Jew wasn't some "brokenness". No, sin was very simple. You intentionally or unintentionally didn't keep the commandments. For unintentional sins, there were the sacrifices. And for intentional sins, there were strict community-based penalties. But hey, "Jesus" was only a Jew who spoke...to Jews. If you're not going to bother understanding the context, then don't bother at all.
