I’m signed a year lease in Pattaya, but the ocean is not pristine as Koh Samui. I think, Koh Samui is a good alternative to Pattaya. Based on your story telling, I like the affordability and local vibe of Mae Nam Beach, but I like to hike, eating different food (Mexican, Japanese, Chinese, Indian, and Italian food, etc), swim after a long walk in the morning, listen to live band at night now and then. Do you have an idea which part of Koh Samui is suitable to my likes? Thank you.

@@simplyfilipino6408Hello, Koh Samui is definitely a beautiful island you should make a trip there and check ✅ it out, as I am a big believer no matter what anyone tells you at the end of the day it's the feeling you get when you are in a place.....it feels like home. There are quite a few Expat Facebook groups in Koh Samui that you can join. Given what you said you may like the area around Fisherman's Village Bhoput area a bit more action there. Hope that helps

Thank you for watching, I spent 2 months travelling south and North of Thailand. It is one of my favourites as it's so easy to get around. Yes visted India and hope to be back in India in December.

@@PassportDreamGetaways Koh phangan is beatiful, lots off nature.and nice and quitte roads, the best is rent a scooter and go explore the island. For nice sunsets and a good glas of wine i recommend L,Alcove on hin Kong beach,thats the sunset side. If it is low tide,than the best beach to go is Than Sadet beach or Thong nai pan beach,those beaches are close to each other. Have a great time.

I think the market is 4-5 days a week unless it reduces in low season. Ask the Smile House hotel team, as they will know being next door to it.

Great!! It is an amazing place. I only discovered it accidentally even though I have been to Thailand 🇹🇭 numerous times. Not as popular as Phuket and Phi Phi Island.

You will love Ao Nang, the night markets had a great variety of food. Also lots of restaurants I noticed a lot of Indian Restaurants in Ao Nang. Did do a lot of shopping as I travel with carry on only, bit plenty of shops to choose from. Have fun 😀

Hi once you are at the pier can you just walk around and spend time? We do not plan to do any boat tour as our baby is only 5 months old.

Yes, absolutely you can walk around. In the video I have done that's the main area you will be exploring, the speed boats arrive at one end of the beach. Plenty of shops around. Have fun it is a beautiful Island 🏝

Hi, we spent 2 months in Thailand seeing the south and north of the country. We chose to visit during Sept/Oct because of cost. It is however the rainy season at that time but this didn't bother us as we were there 4 a long time. So it all depends how many days you ate going 4.

Yes, it was a sombre reminder walking over that Landslide. And the new village is built so close by, it was very sad. The area isn't as popular as many of the other Treks in Neoal, and I hope the video inspire people to travel to the region.
