i love how pastor dick makes jokes on par with a real pastor, gotta love this shit. it was hard to find negativland even back in the day, i happened to get my hands on over the edge part 2 with pastor dick. and managed to get a recording of the famous u2 of a college radio station. so being able to see and hear all of this stuff here on youtube fills those void of almost 30 years.

Another aspect is Derek is very kind so he refuses to say that the melody is wrong. Even the scientist intentionally design the test for testing his logic. I think this is good skill to improvise and enjoy Jazz music. The EEG make me appreciate in his skill indeed.

Not only the songwriting is very prolific & incredible...its tje the chemistry of the band! Its like a giant music box that works perfect in every sense. They are all so good... remains me of bands like the TEMPTATIONS! Session musicians that finally were getting aware of what they had! A super band, hard to cope with! Love all that stuff from you!

I saw Zappa on this tour in Brighton & not only was it better than i could have imagined but back in those days you could smoke inside & many a jazz Woodbine was fired up during the concert. Also there was a 20 minute interlude & tge bar was only a few yards from our seats happy days.

HAHA! Love Bobby Martin's (or perhaps Zappa's) lyrics during "Whipping Post" at 1:46:33 "..and gave me no head..I had to spend the whole night chokin' my chicken.." (classic Frank!)

My dad LOVED these guys. He had a huge box in our living room marked “RESIDENTS” that had everything he owned. Which was basically every album at the time on vinyl and CD, The Commercial DVD, the Eskimo DVD, and the Cube E box set. I watched the Germany performance or a Futurama DVD to fall asleep every night. Something about that performance calmed me down. I loved these guys and they hold so many memories for me.
