Catholicism will not be able to weather the fact that the resurrection didn't happen, it's folklore developed to control. Look at how Catholicism spins novel theology. The soldier's lance in Jesus' side is now signifying something the apostles never taught. This is fundamentally wrong-headed. It is heresy to go beyond what the apostles taught. and to take anyu event out of scripture just to superimpose yhour pet theology on it is called "transgression". A "transgression" is like a "trespass" except from the other side. A "trespass" is when you cross a boundary from the outside in. A "transgression" is when you violate the boundary from the inside out. Listen to what the Apostle John wrote: 2 John 9 - Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. The New International Version translates it this way: 2 Jn. 9 (NIV) - Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. "Runs ahead." In other words, busts through the guardrail of the faith. I prefer "transgress" because, if you understand the definition of that word, you can visualize what a person is doing when he's running ahead of the theology laid down by the apostles and prophets of the first century. If you transgress the doctrine of Christ then you have forsaken both God the Son and God the Father. You no longer "have" the Godhead.

You are not permitted to base theology on something YOU extrapolate from a passage. Theology comes from the apostles. If you can derive a binding theology on just any old thing then you throw the door wide open to all manner of unsupported doctrine. You can't extrapolate that Jesus is the bridegroom of the wedding feast at Cana any more than Joe Heschmeyer can extrapolate that Mary is Jesus's bride at that same wedding (which he does in a particularly disgusting Shameless Popery presentation on his KZbin channel). Our doctrine comes from the apostles. If John wanted you to get that meaning from his writing, he would have spelled it out for you. Jesus is the Bridegroom. That's established fact but making the Wedding Feast at Cana BIND that on us goes beyond what is written. See how this works? We believe what we're told to believe and not junk that we make up. That's called "discipleship".

Catholics don't know how to read the scriptures without tainting them with their own pet theologies, myths, and agendas. A true reading of any contract does NOT insert a personal mythology. Were it not for eisegesis, Catholics would have no "gesis" at all.

These are complicated issues, and I found trying to explain them fully almost impossible. Our understanding of the world and ourselves is profoundly shaped by our unique cultural and personal journeys. Ultimately, respect for differing viewpoints is what matters most.

As someone who was raised Catholic but who drifted away from the Church because of the rampant inherent hypocrisy, I can’t help but view this video as a desperate attempt by these individuals to somehow make their theological beliefs fit this astonishing new paradigm that is unfolding in real time. What makes a whole lot more sense to me is the notion that this Non-Human Intelligence or phenomenon has been around probably as long as humanity has been around and most human religions were either initiated or heavily influenced by humans trying to explain technologies and capabilities that were quite simply beyond human understanding at that time. What is taking place in this video is what has taken place for eons. Those with the most dominant voices in society endeavor to impose their beliefs on the masses regardless of the validity of those views. Unfortunately, the Catholic Church has done that for centuries, and with brutal cruelty and lethality. Fortunately, social media and the free flow of information is finally evening out the playing field. Ultimately, it may turn out that some aspects of all religions have foundations in universal truths. But, I would be completely shocked if the mythology of Catholicism was proven to be a reality.
