I'm trying to obtain training and certification. I don't work in Healthcare currently. I worked in healthcare and retired the year Epic was about to get implemented. Now I can't find parttime employment because I'm not experienced and or certified for EPIC. I'm hoping that restriction will change in the near future as for new/return hires Any advise will be appreciated.

Nicely done. I worked at Kaiser Permanente when we implemented Epic. Was a game-changer for Kaiser, and glad other practices, and so many patients, nationwide have benefited since.

I’m back at nursing and EPIC has me at a whole loss. So complicated.

It's horrible and does not work in Europe where we are being forced to use it. 5 year old would have designed a better piece of software

Why do you hate it? I'm asking because I'm volunteering at a health clinic and they need an open source EHR system that would be a significant upgrade from faxing documents to stay in compliance with HIPAA. Vista seems to be a good option but I'm not 100% sure since I don't have experience in the medical industry.

Hi Izabel. I recently got my billing certification. Most of employer use Epic for billing purpose. Do you have any source for self training that I can learn it myself by watching video... I need to learn just billing part and how with as a biller. Thanks
