Brian Dyer ; Thanks Brian. I just had a listen to your post again and trust me, I could not do what you can do in a million years. Your yodel reminds me of Roy Roger's cowboy style yodel only better. You are smooth as velvet. The amp surely makes it nice as well. You could have been one of "The Son's of the Pioneers"! I am 65 now but will give this a try because my six year old granddaughter and my younger grandson love yodelling!
@brianmusic3244 жыл бұрын
@@charlesfoster141 Hi Charles I've just noticed again your comments. You so kind. I love all that ol' cowboy stuff too. To be be told that I'm better than Roy Rogers is somthin' else! I do hope your Grandies still like yodelling. It's done me good for 67 years since I was 15 and I'm still improving. Honest!! God bless you and yours. xx. Brian.

Thanks for uploading this video ! Trying to imitate him by rewinding again and again . :-) If you have more please upload them for us. Guys ,I keep rewinding from time [1.40 to 2.07 minutes of the video to learn ] of this video. You can do the same thing to get an idea of yodeling by imitating him. I'm sure one day we all will learn it with lots of practice.

Hope you are still improving Sameena I am still getting better at it after 67 years xx

Yes you're right, that what I've done and it humbly works, I am a female and I have a young voice and is like going up to a higher note and that tranzition is like a gate you go through and you feel it... is hard to describe it. Good luck🙂.

I have been a fan of Slim for a lot of years, I was at his farewell concert in Hull, I am also a member of The Slim Whitman Appreciation Society and it's sister group Slim An Byrons Beautiful Songs, it would e wonderful if you planned to release more footage, it would mean so much to us, thank you so much
@MusicmanBing9 жыл бұрын
Irene Boocock Hi Irene Ive hesitated to "release" any footage, especially while slim was alive. But your comments have encouraged me. I'm not too knowledgable about handling my page on here, hence I had not seen your comment, however I'm finding my way around now. Will upload another song hopefully soon, Slim has influenced my life. it's a joy to see so many people interested in him. Best regards Brian

Wow, there's a lot of nice people out there, I'm chuffed that so many are interested in my yodelling video. I've added what I think is a good first song to practice a bit of yodel. It's " I remember you" written apparently by a guy who left this world in about 1914 - Victor Schertzinger. I've uploaded it as a second yodelling lesson, I hope it catches on. x ( Certainly Slim Whitman and Frank Ifield made a good job of it) Keep practicing it'll come xx

what do you use to get the echo in your voice.i have got my voice break just trying to get used to the mike..any sugestions.
@bingsmithforsearches94210 жыл бұрын
Hi Trevor Glad to hear youve found your voice break. Nearly all amps have reverb / Echo on them, also most recording software, I used Cubasis for this particular yodelling lesson, Im not sure what happened in the video sync but it seems to have interested a lot of folk Happy yodelling. I enjoy listening to my hero Slim Whitman
