Get a spreader snaphook and attach it to front D-rings, then attach your climbing line. Make it a lot more comfortable.

How bad was it Marco? Torn and separated badly? I'm wondering if this 2018 with 100k is defective and causing noise over every little road bump.. Why did you replace yours sir?

Good video. I watched this and got motivated to finally go tinker with the parknig brake in my 82 C10. I had the same issue as you. The mechanism is different, but the cause was the same. On the 82, the 3 bolts are in a little different spot, and I had to disconnect the cable and pull the assembly out of the truck. I was able to spray the pivot with about a half a can of brake cleaner. Mine was just moving slow from 40yr old dried up grease.

So I have a similar issue; instead it involves where the running board attaches to the frame underneath and what it screws into in the frame. That internal nut / grommet rusted off when I was taking them off and now I don't know what to use to replace them so that I can put my running boards back on

Just changed mine, and you don't need to mess with those 13mm bolts at all. Just remove all the 10's and slide everything toward the front. That gives you just enough room to get your hand in there and remove/re-attach the vacuum line.

Love that you mentioned the wrench sizes. I don't have a 4x4 same year LS. My check valve probably hit the pavement, fell off that disintegrate hoses GM did. No where in site! Where does the bottom hose connect to from the check valve?

I have no idea on how to attack this installation. I'm going to add purely off your video which was so much information that was helpful in it. I just barely started working on my car myself two months ago because I did not have to financial needs to take it to a dealershipto get it done

I have a floor jack so, making sure the jack is on solid ground, I placed the jack under the oil pan.with a block of wood between the oil pan and where the jack makes contact with the car. That stops the jack from denting the oil pan because the wood will give before the steel. It's like a cushion. All of the bolts are under a lot of weight so I jack the engine up a little to take pressure off the bolts.

What size and length drill bit
@marcoreto4599

Actually I had the bolts already and they were bigger than the hole so I got one of my bigger drill bits and expanded the hole so the bolt would go through. The step is hollow and only a few inches deep.

Flushing your heater core you need to back flush it and to do that you need to know which hose is the inlet and outlet. The easiest way to tell which is which start your vehicle and turn the heater on and check the hoses going to your heater core and the hose that gets hot first is your inlet side . When you flush it out do it from the outlet side back out the inlet side to a bucket to get the most of the rust and scale out of your heater core. Then drain the rest of your coolant out and get a bottle of CRL And put in your radiator and enough There's distiled water.to fill it back up and drive it 50 to 100 miles and drain it and fill it up with distiled water and drive it 10 to 15 miles the drain it and put your new coolant in then your good to go !!!
