Tip 1 : hold the phone horizontally, not vertically. It takes a little more effort but produces much better video. Tip 2 : Write a bit of description, eg rough location, where you were going and from where, season, what cruise ship, etc. It will make for a more engaging video than just uploading from your phone with a title.

How did you manage all of that stuff on the plane? I would love to bring lots of clothing & shoes but I know that i'm going to have to limit the amount that I bring.

I was in Cabo and was kind of in the same situation. Except there was no little pier to walk on. As waves crashed on the beach a little boat came up and we had to wade out into the water to the boat and they pulled us up by our arms. A person we were with slammed her face into a bench on the boat and split her lip open.

We cruised the Caribbean on Viking last month (2/24). Instead of sliding verandah door, there was a hinged door. Very difficult to manage. This was a Penthouse Verandah #6082.

After the huge seas and strong gale and storm force winds I experienced in the southern ocean while singlehanding a 33' sailboat from Saldana, S. Africa to Tonga in the S. Pacific, the Tasman sea was a piece of cake. I had no long range communication gear (just a VHF radio) aboard so it was just me and the albatrosses for nearly 3 months. A very memorable experience.

There's actually something quite thrilling and magnificent about being that close to the ocean when its like that.

We love a conventional promenade deck like this. Sadly they are being designed out of some of the newer 'megaships' in favour of more balcony cabins to generate more revenue. Fabulous to enjoy this walk with you guys .

Its amazing that you were able to capture the singing so clearly from the back of that ship, but looking at the aft deck design, its easy to see how sound would radiate outwards I guess.

So did you guys enjoy the food there? What did you order? Did you know you could actually order food to any foodtruck of the place and eat it to the tables of another foodtruck? For example: you eat at "Chez Mamie" and order crepes at "La Boule Rouge" in the same time. You would have received your crepes at "Chez Mamie". You can do the same with any foodtruck of the place, so that one can eat chinese, and the other one barbecue, and the other pizza etc.
