Any body know what dimensions a Standard Regular TN is ?

your DIY TN is so cute, definitely tempting me even though i've given up rings in 2025... the Lockwood LOOKS so nice but thanks for the heads up about the waxiness, i found the malden also too 'plasticky' and not like real nice leather

Thanks for watching!! I desperately want to find smaller rings so I can DIY. I love the TN cover so much!!

Looking forward to your Japanese stationery haul! And your pen loop DIY was genius. I love my Plotter but last year I bought a B6 Roterfaden and accidentally stumbled onto my system perfection. It's a weird feeling because I genuinely enjoy the 'hunt' and doing fun modifications (thus your vid was really my cup of tea). So my contentment is bittersweet.

How many tiles/rolls of tiles did you need?

Sorry i dont recall! It would be different depending on the size of the tiles and the size of rolls.

where'd you get the coated paper organizer insert? (and does that add a lot of thickness?)
@nance.plants2 ай бұрын
It's washable paper insert from fromthenon. Check out this segment in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y5CZn2ueasd0lZo&t= It doesn’t add too much bulk! You could also use the craft folders or the covers of any insert

I got one. Waiting for it to arrive from Wancher. Bought it specifically because I want to play with different coloured inks without having to use too much ink. And for writing maybe a page at a time. I have small hands, so this suits that need perfectly. And I know because it's Wancher, it's good quality.

Great video! Love the slim Filofax. I am looking into switching to a ring binder system. What would you say is the biggest benefit of having one? Can I also ask where you got your travel-size water color set and monthly / date stamps? Thank you!!
@nance.plants2 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching! So far, the ring system has been more flexible for reordering, adding, and removing pages. This has pros and cons with it being more complex to manage, but more customizable. I'll be sharing another video after I've settled into this system! The water color set is Art Toolkit TRAVEL & SKETCH Pocket Palette shop.travelerscompanyusa.com/products/trc-usa-x-art-toolkit-travel-sketch-pocket-palette Not sure which stamps you're referring to. I'm sharing a 'what's in my stationery bag' video soon! Watch out for more details.

I'm thinking of buying one, but I'm curious: if the ink reservoir runs out of ink, can you reuse it or do you throw it away and buy a new ink reservoir? I've never used fountain pens before and I'm trying to learn as much as I can about them before I purchase one. Thank you!
@nance.plants4 ай бұрын
You can reuse it! You just have to make sure to soak with water and flush out the rest. You can also get new resevoirs

Very nice. I have been trying to decide what size traveler to gift my daughter and I think she would enjoy the smaller one. I’m the kind that carries a huge wallet and she uses just what is essential, but adorable. I would love to go to that coffee shop! Just to be in that crowd, have the scents of coffee and buy the beautiful paper goods!

I love the trick, but I just cannot, for the life of me, understand why would someone go that extra EXTRA mile instead of getting inserts that actually lay flat. This is not me mocking -- a genuine question.

Lay...lie...look it up☺

😊 grammarly: • lie means to be in or put yourself in a horizontal resting position • lay means to put someone or something else in a horizontal resting position

Easy childhood way to remember: Now I lay me (myself, my body, maybe my notebook, down to sleep). Or, I lie down to sleep. My reply was not meant to be rude. I do feel that correct usage of lay/lie, I/me, he/him, she/her, they/them (and others) is important, so that flow of a message is not interrupted by mental corrections. The End.
@nance.plants5 ай бұрын
@ruthbowman5928 ok so please tell me what the error was and what it should be instead!

@@nance.plants It's an easy one to make. See my reply with the childhood bedtime prayer and visualize it. Just keep it in mind if any doubt. P.S. great show and tell - I pulled out my unused travel notebooks to make them more likely be used🤗

This is such a cool idea! And this can be a method that could be applied to almost anything collectable and/or with any kind of food/drink (I've been using my traveler's notebooks to collect receipts occasionally, and I have a similar notebook I've made/bindes with some clear paper protectors to store some of my stickers). Used to save the tags that go on tea bags in some journals, and this is inspiring me to pick up that habit again! ^^
