Brividi could have been great, but suffered from 2 things: 1. The crescendo was waaay too hectic, and it took all of Mahmoods considerable vocal talent to make it even halfway fly 2. It had Blanco in it who just did not take the song seriously, and forced Mahmood to carry the song alone. And Due Vite should have won 2023

@@Tobias_S_Tobi as long as DR insist on the current formula, Denmark will struggle. Neat, fine pop songs are just not good enough. Its just sad to see when you look at Norway, Sweden and Finland where we could find a lot of simularities in music taste, and then see just how much behind Denmark os now.

@@renemortensen5028 But its just werid how much Eurovision have has changed from good pop music to half-naked people who fire it up and set the stage on fire. Maybe it should almost be what Denmark sends next year, without it having to be a copy of what has been before, or else they have to send something damn crazy, which is "very" normal in Eurovision these days?

@@Tobias_S_Tobi Eurovision is a mixture of songs.. Not just naked people. This is not a new thing. In todays Eurovision "standing out" is the key. Find the "niche" that hits. Denmarks problem is that denmark send nice decent songs in genres, where another country has send something better. Denmark has simular music styles as Sweden in term of "streamlined, inoffensive songs" but have no intentions of backing it up with good staging, or good enough artists with enough international class. Its clear as day to me that Denmark then is bound to fail. The whole way DR selects the songs and procedure around it needs to be evaluated. Too me its clear that you should look to Norway for inspiration.

I actually think brividi is one of the best Italian entries ever, if we only consider the song. The song itself deserved to win in 2022. The live performance was really disappointing, I agree. (But I still think Emma had a worse song and worse performance overall).

Aaah this is so good!!! There wasn't a single song on there that i didn't like, literally all of them (apart from fuego) were in my top 5 of that year, and we agreed on 2001, 2006, 2007, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2021, 2022 and 2023!!

Brividi was just super disappointing. The song great, and while I didn't know of Blanco, it had Mahmood who'd shown a really strong performance before. And then they sing it live and it's just incredibly badly sung
