Hey, I too switched from CS to Siege. I still have an AK X-Ray on my steam account and I can confirm the points you have made throughout your video. > Scammers: They're everywhere you look and will comment on your profile > Lowballers: They will lowball you as hard as they can and will insult you if you do not agree to their terms > Gambling: I have been addicted to gambling since I was 14 years old because of CSGO and it is there to stay. I still waste my money opening cases on unaffiliated CS2 gambling sites. > Skin quality: As a designer myself I LOVE CS2's skins, they're pieces of art at this point. CSGO has inspired me to become a designer and make skins of my own for other games. However, from a designer stand point I must give credit to Siege for their incredible operator skins. I also find Siege's PRO Scene more enjoyable to watch although CS2's crowd is by far a lot better. Overall, I played CS for about 6 years and I do not regret quitting it for Siege. I have been playing Siege for a year and a half now and I am in Champion at #24 highest elo of my country.

i mean you can also just buy the skin you want in cs you dont have to open cases altough i agree that gambling is bad and ofc there will be scammers everywhere where big sums of money are involved i havnt played siege for a long time and dont know too well about the market there but i dont think you can compare them to each other

P2p trading in siege would open the exact same problems cs has with skins. Think about it. If valve only had a market, there would be no cash trading, no gambling, no scamming, and no 3rd party sites. Yes cash trading and 3rd party sites are good but the other two, not so much.

Og glacier owner here. The reason why it is so rare and expencive is because it was sold back in black ice. When the game was a very buggy mess that was a failure on release. So back then no one really wanted to buy/support the game. As the seasons went on the devs worked on more and more bug fixes and improving the game. Thats when newer players started joining. I'd say the biggist boost to the playerbase was sometime around redcrow/velvet shell. So that is almost a full year after the pro grades/glacier skins were sold. It has never been sold since those days so the only people who are able to sell it are the og supporters of the pro scene. Same thing with ash/jager/bandits gold dust. They released in dust line and skull rain so it was when the game was growing but not the massive bump that red crow/velvet shell brought.

Glacier is a very nice looking camo. Its got the black ice look with different colors, and instead of the black maple leaf, a golden r6 logo is placed instead. And to be honest, its one of the best looking skins in the game despite being very old. I'm tryna buy them all as a collection thing, almost like cs skins but with siege, its just extremely expensive.

What's happening to the market? the prices are wrong and items that are not worth 120 are being sold for 5000 credits. You also cannot sell items that you already have on order, even when selling at the lowest price.

if you have a skin that has 0 listings on the market you could list it for the amount of credits you have on your account, then buy it on your other account. its kinda hard to find a skin that has no listings but its not impossible
