Everything in life is Kokyò , whilst learning to play guitar many, many years ago some in the class wanted to play what Jimmy Hendrix played , but what he played later in his career and not what he played in the beginning . I found this true with Aikidō students including Hakama merchants, “black belt big head and red face, “. quote from Japanese instructor,, all great instructors have now passed, we have watered down Aikidō these days, thanks for trying 🙏

Ikeda sensei is a great guy. Kind of a man without a native language. Last time he was in town, he said he had been in Japan fairly recently and nobody could understand his Japanese, either. Who is that Eric guy, and what did his parents feed him? Sheesh, dude is BIG.
