Early on, he shows how to duplicate a piece of a track by selecting the piece and dragging it to create multiple new instances of the selection. This apparently changed in Ableton Live 12, because in 12 if you select a piece and drag it, the piece MOVES instead of being duplicated. So this bit of the tutorial is obsolete if you're using version 12.

This is really helpful, for the first time ever I have started a project and named it after this tutorial so I will stick with it. I really appreciate the teaching style, I have been messing with samples since 1996 and I know how to make a track, and most of the terminology, but when I am watching fl studio tutorials to learn it, People always rush through everything and don't explain or show how They navigate and find functions etc. I have subscribed and hope to come back here to this comment in the future with a track I'm proud of. Thanks for taking the time to explain it properly with no hype.

Hi. Thanks. Is there any option to increase the channel strip GUI? I mean zoom in. Channel strip gui is too small for me.

Thank you for the wonderful video. How can we use Ableton in a live performance with other audio instruments?

I'm actually impressed with these tools. Personally, I think it would be awesome to use the Scrawl in a wavetable fashion -- to be able to (in real time) scroll through an array of more than one user made oscillator shapes (like a wavetable index). I don't know if that's possible or not, but maybe a series of transfer-modules could perform the function.

Any plans to fix the audio and video mismatch? I'm curious what's going on with the Delay that has been added in the FX3 video and is not spoken about in the FX2 audio - it's jarringly confusing to watch this one.

In Bitwig 5, the part where you set the slice count to 1 no longer comes up when making a multisample. I cannot work out where those options went. Can you update this?

Nice. Very nice!. I used to teach this sw years ago (20 yrs ago!) but after so many versions later, I wanna start back from square one, and not miss a thing. That's what I appreciated with your tutorial. You'd cover something, and THEN go into the other two or three ways that someone can adopt to be more efficient at it.

I have a problem I can't figure out. I'm trying to make the sampler use only ONE of the zones from the different zones assigned to the same key on a Latin Percussion kit. I've tried everything I could to make it play only one of the zones but it keeps cycling through the different zones automatically and I can't figure out how to stop/modify this. It's the Stomps in the kit and I only like Stomp Copy 7 but every time I hit the key, it cycles to the different zones of the audio file. How can I modify this to only play Stomp Copy 7 zone? EDIT: Knowing this information will also help me know how to setup up the automatic cycling in case I also want to create a sampler instrument where one key triggers several different zones of an audio file.

I would like to know how to import an audio file without altering its real-time playback speed, as when I import it, it plays back slowly. Is there an option that automatically keeps it in real time? I use Bitwig Producer. Thanks a lot in advance!"
