I have allowed the AI program to use my videos and painting process for training. Soon, the AI program will be able to paint any style of oil painting stroke by stroke just like a human, surpassing us humans. What I am thinking about now is: As a professional artist, what is the future?
@mithatkorler70707 күн бұрын
Unemployment is going to explode in every sector. However I think art is going to be effected minimal. Painting is not only brush strokes ,drawing or colors. Art concepts and personal preferences always belong to artists and no computer programme can fully imitate that point.
@Yuehua_Art7 күн бұрын
@@mithatkorler7070 I agree with you that an artist's work, from the physical canvas to the oil paint, is a tangible, one-of-a-kind object with a unique personality.

As a lifelong "student" and admirer of Rembrandt, I can say with assurance that the handling demonstrated here is as far from Rembrandt as one could possibly be. Once, I had the good fortune to hold a lovely actual original unframed Rembrandt sepia ink wash drawing in my hands at a very famous collection not open to the public.
@Yuehua_Art8 күн бұрын
I am still in the beginner stage, and I would be very grateful if you could publicly demonstrate Rembrandt's approach and oil painting process.

@@Yuehua_Art Regardless of whether or not I am a working artist, of which I said nothing, I also did not imply that any artist working in any period was ever able to adequately replicate Rembrandt's skill or style. Personally, I do not believe such a feat is possible because the Master was one of the top painters and draftsmen who ever existed. Further, I believe it is futile and more than a little presumptuous to publish videos purporting to do so. Oh, and incidentally, your sarcasm does not go unnoticed.

I am so glad to have stumbled upon your work. Thank you for sharing it with us. I see you applied an initial light red and yellow-orangish glaze on top of the dry the monochrome painting, I am curious, did you allow it to dry first before going darker? Or were these glazes wet on wet?
@Yuehua_Art10 күн бұрын
I used a lot of white when painting in monochrome, and intentionally increased the brightness. When light red and yellow-orange glazes are applied on the dried monochrome painting, the brightness will be normal. Thank you.

@@Yuehua_Art Thanks for the response. What I meant to ask, was in this particular glazing session, is the video all a single session, or did you allow lighter color glazes to dry before putting additional colors on top?

Hi maestro, did you oil out the surface before painting? My oil paints are too thick so I have troubles to apply them to a surface. I use Rembrandt brand paints. What would you recommend how can i thin down paints in a traditional way? What would be the optimal consistency of paints for multi layering process?

Oil paint needs to be diluted. At the beginning, add more turpentine. The best consistency of the paint is based on the smoothness of the brush. Thank you.
