Is this said only for floors? Bc i can't tell if I'm doing it right for a wall. It just drips out of the crack.
@TCCMaterials5 ай бұрын
@thaddeus63701 The Akona Epoxy Crack Repair is for horizontal repairs only. This is why you are experiencing it dripping out of the crack on the wall. Here is a link to the technical data sheet for the product to learn more: www.tccmaterials.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/data_Epoxy-Crack-Repair-2C-08.21.23.pdf

Is this safe on a car panel
@TCCMaterials5 ай бұрын
@brianbeltran Akona Concrete & Masonry Dissolver is an environmentally friendly liquid alternative to aggressive acid concrete removers. Concrete & Masonry Dissolver can be used to safely remove cured concrete, mortar, grout, and stucco build-up from tools, concrete forms, job mixers, hardware, shoring, and more. I have provided a link to the technical data sheet for the product for more information: www.tccmaterials.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Akona-Concrete-Masonry-Dissolver-Technical-Data-Sheet.pdf in section 5 it states, "It is the responsibility of the installer/applicator to ensure the suitability of the product for its intended use". We cannot definitively state there would be no damage to your car given we have not tested the specific metal or paint. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

I was handed a bag of that at the home improvement store by the employee and he said it didn't require a bonding compound of any kind. Said just mix with water and good to go. I trusted him because I was in a hurry. I'll have to go read the label and change my plans for today. 🙃

Thank you for your comment. For the best results the Akona Instant Patching Cement should be mixed with water or for additional strength and adhesion, mix with Akona Concrete Bonding Additive. I have provided a link to the technical data sheet for the Instant Patching Cement for more information. www.tccmaterials.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/data_Instant-Patching-Cement-2C-03.21.24.pdf

Mine dried white in shaded areas. Any solution for this?
@TCCMaterials8 ай бұрын
Thank you for your inquiry. Overapplication will lead to the product turning white when exposed to moisture. When did you apply the product? It may need more time to cure.

Could i pour this into a shallow drain catch basin in my basement floor to remove a chunk of hardened concrete that's stuck to the clay sewer pipe?
@TCCMaterials10 ай бұрын
@staza1 We recommend not using this product to remove concrete in a drain. This product should be used to remove cured concrete, mortar, grout, and stucco off of tool, concrete forms, job mixers, and hardware, not drains. If you would like to read more about the product can visit our website. www.tccmaterials.com/product/akona-concrete-masonry-dissolver/

@@TCCMaterials Thanks for the reply. Well, im going to give it a try. I cant afford to pay $350 for a bottle of croc-crete, which everyone recommends for drains, so your product was the only affordable option i could find that seemed to do the same thing. Since you say it is biodegradable, it doesnt seem like there could be too much harm done. I wont be letting it sit in a long drain pipe for long. It will just be sitting at the bottom of a catch basin before the trap. Ill just pour it in and see if it can dissolve the chunk of concrete down there. I'll let you know how it goes.
