I’ve driven plenty of them and really it’s nothing special, the seats are crap the inside feel so tight and secluded and it doesn’t feel to much different from a c6-c7 which isn’t a bad thing but 100k plus for one no way 50-60k is a fair value for these

Just my opinion but I think c8s are so common and depreciated now. It’s just trying so hard to be a European “super car” but you still feel like you are in a lesser car when the real big dogs are on the road next to you. I wish they stayed true to their roots with the front engine and keeping the manual transmission. I would choose a manual C7 Z06 over a C8 stingray honestly.

Meh v8's are over rated. I have the right to say so. Up till a few months ago I had a 5.0 Mustang and traded it in for a eco boost one. Little less pull when you step on it, but who cares, why do you need to go faster than the speed limit anyways, and the sound? Sure its nice, sometimes, but its mostly for show "Hey look at me" no thanks.

LS refers to the ALUMINUM block sports car engines. The 5.7 ls1 c5 or trans am or the 6.2 LS3 ect. The 4.3 v6 or 4.8 5.3 6.0 v8 are not LS engines rather code for a non e85 iron block 5.3 is LM7 I had a 5.3 with flex fuel that was the L59 and the LQ9. People just call them LS because that sounds cooler than LM7 or something.

@@MrAstinmartin LS is an aluminum block motor. 4.8, 5.3, iron block 6.0, etc etc ARE NOT LS motors. the 5.0 in the modern area is way easier to stack on. no mods you can push on it a tube 840 horsepower. the engine isn’t gonna handle it for long but that’s the power of the era we are in, chevy is out of the game especially with the transmission problems they’ve been having
@N4CR
@N4CR 26 күн бұрын
5.0 vs ls price wise isn't comparable man. Of course a modern DOHC 5.0 can make more power and its got better internals than a normal LS, you'd hope so when you pay 2-3x as much for the whole setup and it's harder to work on.

@@Sasquatch_by_Day-nv3yh Honestly if you’re gonna track a c7 from the factory the grand sport is the best. Doesn’t have the overheating issues that the Z06 has and doesn’t have so much power that you can’t drive it at 10/10ths bc you’ll blow the tires off the car.
