This model has the Air Filter on the motor cover. This took me by surprise because I saw many models with the Air Filter right next to the car battery.

After all those mods, plus a tune, it got to a 170hp? I'm looking to get mine tuned as well, but I want to gain more than 170hp, do u think that'll be possible? So far, my setup is: 2.0 lancer es cvt na K&n cold air intake External transmission cooler Paddle shifters GTS headers Was told that exhausts won't really add anything performance wise, so i'm debating whether to keep it stock or just get a muffler. Is it possible to get more than 170hp?

Thanks its so helpful. Hi, I am unable to change filter when doing oil change as my wrench didn’t fit . Is it okay to change the filter only by just changing and loosing the oil in the filter only ?
@AcetuningTVPerformance Жыл бұрын
I would buy the proper socket wrench for the filter canister and change filter every time you change your oil.

@@AcetuningTVPerformance that is really great because I am one of those mechanically inclined women. I wan to learn how to do these things for mydelf not because I don’t have a dude, lol, because I do, but he is the opposite of mechanically inclined. I was the kid that took crap apart and put it back together, he was the kid who took things apart and then either lost the pieces or went to the next challenge lol..

Do the manual transmission Lancer GTS models come with CVT because I have a 2010 Nissan Sentra SR and I'm trying to move away from that? My Sentra is so boring to drive. I'm considering a Lancer GTS or Civic Si. I could get a GTS and have alot of leftover money for upgrades or I can get a Civic Si but won't have extra money for anything in upgrades. I'm looking for fun, reliable and somewhat peppy in speed. I know both these cars are kinda slow anyway but I'm not trying to race everyone who pulls up to me. I'm too old for that stuff nowadays and want a car that will be a fun daily driver. Thoughts???
@AcetuningTVPerformance Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching my video! I would stay away from anything cvt personally. A manual transmission would be the most fun in any of those 3 cars compared with the automatic models. From those 3 cars, I would choose Civic Si. Great aftermarket support for maintenance and modifications. My biggest suggestion is to go test drive a bunch of cars that spark your interest. My daily d is an Audi s4 and I have zero regrets. Good luck on your car hunt!
