Your video was the only one that actually explained the differences. Thank you!

I’ve been looking for a video that actually explains the differences between the stretch and wind-up. This is the ONLY one that explains deeply the differences between them. Thank you!!

I like this. I thought it would be the typical hip to pole drill

I didnt make my 16u fall ball so i figured ill just practice at home the smallest details i can and when school ball comes up ill be really good. My fall ball coach said i should get on a team where ill play alot, but my doctor has recommended i take 2-3 months off from baseball everytime ive visited him this year. Ive had some UCL problems, related to overuse and scapula instability, but he said specifically, "I recommend to all overhead athletes to take 2-3 months off from throwing so there body's can recover." and ive been throwing since last fallball....

how long someone should take a break from throwing depends on the person. If you are having elbow issues rest will help in most cases unless a tear has already occurred. Have you had an MRI done?

@@alingram88 I had an mri done. i had sprained my ucl about 4 months ago, took 7 weeks off with no throwing, and then started back up slowly. Im still having some pain, and sometimes im not, but its not anywhere as bad as it was originally. The still remaining pain is most likely from my scapula being unstable. Im working to strengthen them.

0:23 THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT! The centerfielder said, "Nah, you'd just play it normal and go home." I was like, "What......" So just glad i know that for sure now. If you throw 2 bases ahead of 2nd on a linedrive then its a play at the plate, do or die.

Great Drill! I plan to work on this one with my 11 year old son who is a pitcher. Can you do a video that shows how to do the fall and drive method you teach? My son is more of a drop and driver, but I'd like to help him develop a more proper and powerful drive. Thanks Coach!

Hey David, thanks for checking out my video! I'm in full swing with my coaching on-field and in the cages so I've put the videos on the backburner for now. If you want to send me a video of your son pitching I can let you know what I see and what my tips for drills and exercises would be! I can be reached at [email protected]
