Nice unboxing. Love that it doesn't have a base cup hole. POV edit coming maybe?

What a team. that was my favorite year since 2012. I wish they could have beat the Dodgers but in a short series, anything can happen. Still a magical and entertaining season.

It always cool to see a kendama made these days without a basecup hole and still lunar and flip properly.

Man, this team was so good and so clutch. Not gonna lie, there were a bunch of games during 2021 where I turned the TV off because I thought it was game over just to go on twitter and find out they brought the game back with a LaMonte or Slater or Yaz or Solano homer. I miss those days so much, it was a great year.

This was pretty well put together! :D There were lots of fun angles and cinematic shots to give this project good documentary vibes, I like that you were able to include footage of a few kendama competitions and showcase how fun they could be, and it was neat to hear everyone's interview answers! I'm actually kinda resonating with Joshua and his point about playing with a kendama feeling like a nice break from technology since I've been picking kendama back up as of late and slipping sessions throughout the days.. ;u; Alsoooo, Joshua and Nick getting picked up as sponsors for kendama teams/distributors after winning competitions reminds of the same sort of thing happening in speedcubing!

Nice ! Good Review I mannage to build one in Kendama Depot today ! The best i could do with the weights available was 80g Maple Ken with 73g Ash cush tama. Do you think its ok to have a 7g heavier ken? (i just noticed that your Ascent2 has the same 7g ken heavy distribution, help on lunars?) I never had a heavier ken setup, normaly you see the oposite.. What is the weight of yours? missed it on the review. Thanks ! Would love to see what you think about this
@MicahChinn7 ай бұрын
honestly it’s all personal preference but i do prefer to have the weights closer to each other within 5ish grams. my ascent 2 is 83.8 ken and 75.4 tama.
@Falconzip7 ай бұрын
@@MicahChinn Thanks for answering Mica. How do you feel about the ascent 2 being on a heavier ken setup? changes anything for your lunars? maybe it helps? Think i will be fine.. cant wait to try the Legend shape with naty ash tama.
@MicahChinn7 ай бұрын
@Falconzip lunars are fine with it, just kenflips and juggles take a little more effort

0:04 When using a new Sweets Cush, do you prepare your bevel doing something like usign a coin/sanding/concreting or you just play and hope for the best ? Good videos, thanks
@MicahChinn7 ай бұрын
i only break in the bevel naturally by playing it haha. but that is a good option if you want it broken in faster!

i have question, ive seen people do forward swing to inward lunar and i aws so stucked, can you consider make a tutorial or just a short tips on it?
@MicahChinn9 ай бұрын
try pulling up for airplane but instead aim for inward lunar. you’re trying to avoid the ken from over flipping since it’s sorta a backflip trick

If sweets had more consistency I’d be more of a fan of cushion. Friction clear seems to have a way better wear to me as well. Every cushion tama I’ve had has been a very delicate surface that disappears to the paint below quickly. I haven’t had any paint fall off of a friction clear except near the bevel.
