you can apply through Travisa, Atlys, or the countries embassy to get visas! and you can get different currencies through your bank

hiiii thanks for reaching out! i’m pretty sure you can go to any school to go on semester at sea! it all just depends on if the classes will transfer (you will just have to talk to your advisor about this). also, there were quite a few students on my voyage who went as gap year students! lmk if you have other questions♥️
