Not sure what you mean? Is the text staying on the screen and adding more text each time? Or you want to make sure you don't repeat the same text as the previous click?

Thank you for responding,@@DGreenwood I have 8 strings in one array and I set a condition to only show 5 of them. Apparently, in those 5 strings, at least one of them shows twice when I click the button five times

You need another array to track which strings from the textArray have been randomly selected via button presses. For each click a conditional statement checks the trackingArray if that string has been used before from the textArray and if it has you will run the function over again until it lands on an unused position in the textArray. Hope that makes sense

Happy it helped I try and keep things simple to make it easier to get working before you get all fancy with it and add acceleration or walk /sprint

OMG! I've been looking for this exact thing. I wanted to make a little app for choosing a random radio station for workmates, I couldn't figure out how to output the content and also after button was clicked you had to reload the page to reselect. I've learned some valuable knowledge and completed what should have been an easy starter project haha, Thanks! you got a new sub :D
