If I'm being honest I just recorded this as a test run and then when I started editing I knew I had to make a video with it I also have been waiting on someone to make a nomad version of the crossbow cause I asked the guy who made the new folding swords and he said if someone else isn't making it he will try to mainly it's just a waiting game for me for more mods that could emulate a dishonored type feel of the gameplay, I also had no idea how I was gonna edit this so I never even planned to add the effects till I was editing with some time I could easily make this better but I was just having a little fun with it. Also dungeon runs are harder to mess around with gravity and stuff I like to make things look as interactive and smooth as possible and sometimes gravity is a bit buggy but thats just B&S being B&S if i was doing a shorter video i could definitely improve on this a lot but just for this specific one i wanted to focus on the feel of corvo moving through a castle/dungeon killing everyone as efficiently as possible and I think I did well enough with that but I appreciate the feedback man your videos are sick

Also not to mention adding motion blur to this was a pain in the ass cause it takes so so long to process I found myself sitting there for 40+ minutes waiting for it to load if I accidentally left the video so getting audio affects was a pain idk if I'd have the willpower to edit in affects for everything haha but more power to you man your stuff looks and sounds really good cause of the work you put in

@Nepheson I've been waiting on a crossbow for a long time too. I heard that the guy who made tools of the trade got death threats and definitely won't be porting his mod to nomad. I was super sad hearing that. And you've done a really good job with this video, so don't think I'm trying to knock you down; I'm just trying to help where I can to help you improve. And I feel the motion blur thing. It became the main reason why I started making my videos much shorter. What slow motion % do you usually use? I use a 0.25x for slow motion, then speed it up around 3x to 3.5x the original speed in capcut. I found that it runs the best performance wise, but a 30 second clip is actually 4 minutes compressed.

​@@DreadfulwhalerI understood your intent with your comment and I appreciate your advice was just lyk why I hadn't already done those things. As for slow mo I think I use 0.55x? Idk but then I speed it up to 1.7x in capcut add some motion blur at 25 and put a filter on to make the game a little more grey to get the same vibe as the dishonored art style

​@@Dreadfulwhaleralso about the crossbow I've been speaking with some of the guys who make these dishonored mods and apparently there's some guy named ermclear or something like that who's in the process of porting the crossbow right now so that's good news just hope it all works out and he decides to finish the port and doesn't give up on that cause it seems like a trend with the scripting mods I don't blame him though if he does it's apparently a pain in the ass to make and port scripted mods

At the end of the mission "Goodbye, old friend" you'll have a police outfit. I dont know how do you keep it exactly, maybe fail the mission and restart from your last checkpoint, I did this. After you complete the mission, you will have somehow the belt equipped. (Not the police outfit). After that just do the glitch normally.

@@TahitiMaster In my case I completed the mission and the outfit I wore before the mission fsr had the police belt maybe that's just me idk.

@@adichong4416 so I played as Arthur normally but at the chapter while you and John go to the grave yard to get that loot or whatever but I did a money glitch and then after that. Ya know that chapter when they hang colm and they have the police uniforms. But I did the glitch when you keep it and the after that I had the outfit yay😁. But there's where it starts so the outfit it takes you off hand holster off and plus You get a sweet police uniform but save the police uniform by getting a trapper fit ya know what just watch the tutorial on the whole outfit thing but. Now you have no off hand holster and now and now play the game like usual and poor Arthur dies 😮‍💨 and then as John Marston you PLAY the WHEEL after when he tells you to deliver the crap don't I'm instead go to emerald ranch and while at it you can get some stuff to sell in a destroyed carriage near while going there and loot the box... And now you have stuff to sell and now go the emerald ranch and sell you junk to the man at emerald ranch! Now you got money from the stuff you sold and now head to Valentine and buy an NORMAL UPGRADED HOLSTER the black holster and go to the general store and save the outfit maybe take off the hat and add so clothes and stuff to the outfit so you can save it.. and then go to finish the mission once you got it save just do all the "ranch missions" normally and once you see John leaving in the "Cowboy Outfit' go to black water and check if the outfit still saved and if it is put it on and play the mission in black water and keep the outfit on through game until you build beechers hope and if you see a weird hammer holster you did it now go save the outfit and there you go no off hand holster... But every time you get back on rdr2 you gotta put the outfit you saved back on and yes you can alter it if you want. I hoped this helped and also just watch tutorials 😂 but what I said is what I did so hopefully it works for you

Enable cheats before going to see angelo bronte and complete mission load Auto save then sleep Till noon and read letter from mary

you can’t save the outfit unless you switch too the trapper outfit it won’t let you no matter what

you can start a new save

@@percyvimen I mean, the glitch DID work, I have NO offhand holster. But a side effect of the glitch is that I am missing "John's Pistol Belt" entirely. It is attached to some default outfits however it doesn't show up seperately in the Gun Belts section...

its hard too explain that’s why, if i could actually talk somebody through doing it, it would be a lot less inconvenient and easier too do but this is the best i could do however his pistol belt missing isn’t a fault too the glitch it’s a fault too your copy of the game my grizzlies outlaw pistol belt doesn’t show up either it’s just the sad reality of how buggy this game is

If only they would’ve just simply added it to cutscenes and gave you the option to customize how you wear it

it pops back on when you die/reload the game, and you can’t save with the wheel belt or it will delete all your outfits when you die the hammer attachment thing is the key prt that makes this work on the current patch it’s weird but it works lol

it will pop back on but you just gotta reequip your saved outfit in a wardrobe

@@koenx me and fazhblob have both played for 4 years i tried and tested it myself you just didn’t do it right bud

@@koenx you have too do literally everything down too a T from this video and the other one the only difference with mine is that i found a different way too remove the off hand, so you 100% did something wrong or tried too take a shortcut don’t tell me what is wrong and right, i tested this multiple times and it works on the current patch

yes this method is possible on any console on any patch note

yes you can use it like normal it just won’t show up visually unless you pull it out

@@Nepheson I was riding to fast and lost the items in the coach and it made me fail mission I restarted the mission instead of restarting from the checkpoint am I still good? :(

@@user-hm1ts1es7u nah im sorry man you gotta restart from the end of chapter 6 again unfortunately you can’t fail the mission either just be very careful until you get the attachment thing it will take a bit but it will be worth it
