Sir, what a fantastic and informative review of the under rated gurkha. Force motors has addressed and implemented almost all the short comings put forwarded by you in your earlier review to make it more upmarket, except the pindle hooks, terrible omission made by the force motors for a such capable off roader. Hope that the boffins at force motors will also listen to you in configuring the seats in a more useful manner with flippable seats in the near future. I'm looking forward for the pick up version of this beast. Please enlighten us with a video regarding the changes effected to the gurkha's under pinnings. Once again, kudos for the great video

GURKHA is such a promising SUV "FORCE" are NOT DOING ENOUGH just bloody fix 2 things 1) make interior justify 20K PRICES (check Chinese like Tank or THAR ) - seats + dash 2) change that stupid bumper - g wagon kind of design / rubicon - get some new generation boys design

I was impressed with the look of the Gurkha and was planning on buying it. However,after seeing this video, I have aborted the plan. The designers have wasted and wasted and wasted space inside the vehicle. The absolute disaster is the non foldable seats due to which boot space cannot be increased. As a prospective customer or rather an ex prospective customer, I can state that this vehicle isn't up to the mark at. all. There are just tooooooooo many things that are lacking. So, no need to waste time even going to the showroom for a closer look. Thanks a ton for this video. Very well made and detailed. Full marks to the gentleman who made this video, fabulous 👍👍 The slick talking showroom salesman would not be able to describe anything but talk of the colours available. Once again thank you very much, you have saved me efforts and money. I will definitely not buy this after seeing your detailed review. No doubts or second thoughts.

Few more days, BIG Review in tripaccino style is coming out. We will compare Roxx against competition. Quick Line Summary: If you are looking for a family 'car' which can go offroad also, Roxx is a better proposition. If you want an 'offroad truck' where you are family can also come along, Gurkha still has some merit.

I’m betting that they will quietly swap the brake pads or bite tuning in the brakes in the next batch refresh to fix the sponge brake . If you can you should wait. They did a similar refresh in bs6.0 and I’ve put a video on it. P.S: I don’t want commission, only timely spares parts availability.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Evaluate options and if you have a trusted gurkha service Center nearby, shouldn’t be a big deal breaker. But test drive alternatives and evaluate based on your requirements.

#I have to make a video about regional acceptance of certain vehicles- thanks for bringing it out. Kerala- Mod’s own country. Known for tasteful modifications. State that sells most RE bullets in the country is Kerala (not Punjab) Only state to have an off-road centric movie - Muddy. ‘Jeep’ craze from yesteryear’s and recognition of purity of gurkha being the purists’ jeep than say modernised Thar. Gurkha lends itself to tasteful mods . Same for Innova. Another KL favourite. Perfect image of a Naatil oru veedu. Two cars in front . One Jeep one car. KL and MH are better blessed in the otherwise gurkha sparse service network I’ve shown in the map in this video Terrain hilly and rural mostly except few urban centres, so very suited for a rugged 4x4

The only thing I hate about the Gurkha is its weak articulation where the Thar actually shines. Can something be done to get articulation somewhat similar or better than Thar? The vehicle is big and tall n I am afraid of it getting toppled.

@VascoDaGama1498 articulation is a sore point for the gurkha yes. a complete redesign of rear required ,in fact I’m working on it. The geometry might never achieve that standards even then. However it might not be that bad for most use cases - pls see my off-road slay video and to what angles I've tilted without topple,
