Just an update: please know I made this video when I was 13 and it was for a school project. It wasn’t meant to be a professional documentary. There were certain requirements for the project and that’s why the video is like this. I just decided to upload it to KZbin for fun

I am a trini/canadian grew up in San Fernando and I thought the same thing. Some good pan music would be better, anyway it was great seeing the south especially the promanade, Sando hill. I went to Convent and spent a lot of tine eating good stuff from the vendors there, great memories...I have lived abroad for 50 years and travelled to over 32 countries but no place like TT for me

It is a city with Latin history and heritage. All of Trinidad has a Hispanic past. Spain ruled Trinidad longer than England (200+years).

True, Trinidad is near Venezuela, but is not a Latin country .. We speak English and a broken language " Patwa or Patois ." Trinidad is the most beautiful of all the caribbean ... Soca and Calyso are Trinidad's country music ... I'm from Maraval myself, but currently I'm living in Viet Nam with my Vietnamese wife and children ... So I'm Trinidadian raised in USA and now living in Viet Nam ... HaHaHaHa ...

I'm not saying that modern Trinidad is a Latin country. I'm saying that Spanish language and culture is part of Trinidadian history and culture. We should not act as if it was never spoken here in fact Spanish is still spoken by a minority of our people and it has been used on the island for a longer period of time than English. By the way, I speak Patois fluently.

Thank you so very much. I left T'dad when I was 10 years old; over 56 years ago, but still identify strongly as a Trinidadian and refer to T& T, as home, despite not ever experiencing certain areas of the Island fully. Therefore, your film took me to parts of San Fernando, I have never seen. Your silent documentary spoke volumes, as it communicated so much. It informed us of the street and places we were seeing, with uninterrupted views of the city (without the distraction of people) and was beautifully scenic. A well thought-out project and I hope you get the recognition you deserve. The song choice added to the quality of your work. Congratulations on a great piece of work .
